Shreveport, La : History was made Saturday as the Shreveport Pirates and the Michigan Panthers played to a 24-24 tie, making it the first tie in the short history of the American Spring Football League.
Khiry Robinson ran for 107 yards 1 touchdown on 18 carries, plus had a touchdown reception for the visiting Panthers. Jeremy Gallon had 3 catches for 52 yards and a score. Kyle Miller chipped in with 5 catches for 48 yards. Aaron Murray completed 14 of 26 passes for 153 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception
The Pirates were led by quarterback Darian Durant who completed 25 of 40 passes for 290 yards and 1 touchdown with 1 interception. Antonio Andrews had 17 carries for 96 yards and 1 touchdown. Jacksonville, FL : Zach Collaros threw for 273 yards and 3 touchdowns, while completing 22 of 31 passes as the Omaha Express rolled over the faltering Jacksonville Bulls 31-14.
Latavius Murray ran 16 times for 109 yards and 1 touchdown. Gator Hoskins had 6 catches for 60 yards and 1 touchdown. James Hanna had 4 catches for 64 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Express who improve to 3-6 with the win.
Ryan Lindley led the Bulls who have lost 3 out of their last 4, completing 21 of 31 passes for 323 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception. Andre Williams had 99 yards on 17 carries. Chase Coffman caught 9 passes for 92 yards and Cole Beasley had 6 catches for 100 yards. Connor Vernon added 4 catches for 86 yards and a score. Bryce Brown also had a touchdown reception for the Bulls.

Memphis, Tn : Vince Young was a perfect 17 for 17 in completions for 265 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Arizona Scorpions upset the Memphis Hound Dogs 31-29 at the Liberty Bowl Saturday afternoon.
Eric Breitenstein powered his way to 154 yards on 26 carries. Tiger Jones had 6 catches for 106 yards and 2 touchdowns. Andrew Quarles caught 6 passes for 64 yards and a score as the Scorpions improve to 2-7.
Ricky Ray led Memphis throwing for 199 yards and 1 touchdown, while completing 22 of 32 passes. James White had 15 carries for 94 yards and 2 touchdowns, plus 6 catches for 33 yards. Salt Lake City, Ut : Brian Brohm completed 17 of 26 passes for 259 yards and 2 touchdowns in leading the Portland Dragons to a 26-17 victory over the Utah Mammoths Saturday night at Rice - Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.
Silas Redd had 89 yards rushing on 11 carries. Jasper Collins had 7 catches for 138 yards and a touchdown. Chad Jackson caught 5 passes for 55 yards and a score for the Dragons.
Ryan Alpine threw for 273 yards and 1 touchdown, while completing 26 of 39 passes ,plus had 13 carries for 60 yards for the Mammoths. Marion Grice was held to 29 yards on 12 carries, along with 9 receptions for 76 yards. Zach Sudfeld added a touchdown reception as well, catching 4 passes for 46 yards.
