WEEK TWO FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL PREVIEW
Dallas Six Shooters ( 0-1 )
Versus
Omaha Bulls (1-0 )
Friday February, 28
Place: Gerald J Ford Stadium
Dallas, Texas
Time: 7pm cst
The Dallas Six Shooters will try to get on the winning track as they will host the (1-0 ) Omaha Bulls Friday night in the Six Shooters home opener at Gerald J Ford Stadium in Dallas.
The Six Shooters ( 0-1 ) will try and rebound from their season opening loss to Louisville in week one ( 31-42 ).
Six Shooters veteran quarterback Mike Riley threw for 293 yards and 4 touchdowns against a very good Louisville team. With Chris Carson and Corey Clement solidifying the ground game, and talented receivers DeAngelo Yancey, Justin Sumpter and Dez Bryant. The Six Shooters are capable of putting up big numbers offensively.
The defense gave up 358 yards through the air ranking 28th in the AFFA. It is a unit that will definitely need to step up in week two.
" We definitely know we can play better. We just have to cut down on mistakes and big plays!" said Six Shooters cornerback Nick Marshall
The Dallas defense will definitely have their hands full this week against Rakeem Cato and the division foe Omaha Bulls.
The Bulls are coming off a 36-31 victory over another Texas team, the Houston Wranglers. Omaha comes into Friday night's matchup with the 6th ranked offense.
Quarterback Rakeem Cato completed 23 of 33 passes for 244 yards and 2 touchdowns last week against Houston. He also ran for 2 touchdowns while rushing for 45 yards on 12 carries.
Rex Burkhead and "Mr Excitement " Martez Carter carry the rock for the Bulls. Luke Tasker and Weston Dressler along with Nelson Spruce are extremely talented and dangerous in the passing attack.
The Bulls defense led by defensive end Charleston Hughes, DE Greg Hardy and Outside Linebacker Jayon Brown can bring the heat defensively.
The secondary led by CB Josh Thornton, CB Alfonzo Dennard and safeties Kenny Moore and Andrew Adams have struggled but are an experienced and formidable group.
This Midwest Division matchup should be a good one!
