( 3-3 ) Memphis- 19    ( 4-2 ) Columbus - 18

 Memphis, Tn:  Kevin Fitzpatrick kicked a 26 yard field goal with 15 seconds remaining in regulation to lift the Memphis Hound Dogs past the Columbus Explorers 19-18 before 31,544 at the Liberty Bowl Saturday afternoon.

Ricky Ray completed 19 of 27 passes for 251 yards and a touchdown to lead Memphis ( 3-3 ). Javon Ringer ran 21 times for 78 yards. Matt Hazel had 4 catches for 82 yards and a touchdown in the win.

Columbus was led by quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell who completed 18 of 25 passes for 236 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Jacquizz Rodgers had 22 carries for 97 yards and a score. Mark Clayton caught 7 passes for 116 yards in the loss for Columbus ( 4-2 ).


( 2-3 ) San Antonio - 31   ( 2-3 ) Dallas- 28

San Antonio, Tx:  Keshawn Martin had a 83 yard punt return for a touchdown as the San Antonio Gunslingers ( 2-3 ) shot down the Dallas Wranglers 31-28 at the Alamodome.

Mike Reilly completed 18 of 23 passes for 190 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead the Gunslingers. David Fluellen had 61 yards rushing on 18 carries, plus 5 catches for 44 yards. Todd Heap chipped in with 5 catches for 45 yards.

Dallas was led by Tim Tebow who completed 14 of 19 passes for 187 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception. Tebow also ran for a touchdown ( 8 yard run ). Tyler Varga led all rushers with 128 yards on 27 carries and a score. Jarrett Dillard had 3 catches for 99 yards including a 66 yard touchdown in the loss for Dallas.


 ( 5-1 ) Chicago - 43   ( 2-4 ) Virginia- 31

Norfolk, Va:  Reggie Dunn had two kick returns for touchdowns ( 91, 95 ) to lead the Chicago Stags ( 5-1 ) past the Virginia Tritons 43- 31 at William D. Price stadium before 18, 211.

 Jamarcus Russell continues to make the most of his comeback opportunity completing 21 of 29 passes for 290 yards and 1 touchdown with 1 interception. Stephon Jefferson rolled to another great day running 32 times for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns. Aaron Mallette had 7 catches for 129 yards in the win for the Stags.

 Dan LeFevour completed 27 of 42 passes for 347 yards with 2 interceptions to lead Virginia. Kapri Bibbs ran 23 times for 122 yards and 3 touchdowns. Danny Amendola caught 7 passes for 88 yards. Lance Moore had 5 catches for 82 yards before going down with an injury.


 ( 4-2 ) Hartford- 20   ( 1-5 ) Arizona- 10

 Glendale, Az:  Colt Brennan completed 25 of 34 passes for 273 yards and a touchdown as the Hartford Sentinels ( 4-2 ) defeated the Arizona Scorpions ( 1-5 ) 20-10 at University of Phoenix stadium Saturday evening.

 Miguel Maysonet ran 11 times for 37 yards and a touchdown. Rico Richardson had 7 catches for 126 yards. Jo Don Duncan caught 6 passes for 47 yards and a score in the win.

 Kameron Smith completed 16 of 27 passes for 208 yards with 2 interceptions for Arizona. Eric Breitenstien had 20 carries for 112 yards and Marvin Jones had 5 catches for 97 yards in the loss for Arizona.


( 3-3 ) Baltimore- 16   ( 3-3 ) Utah- 14

 Baltimore, MD:  Sean Whyte connected on a 40 yard field goal with 15 seconds remaining in regulation to give the Baltimore Bombers a 16-14 victory over the Utah Mammoths Saturday night

Keith Wenning led the Bombers ( 3-3 ) completing 23 of 37 passes for 217 yards. Rajion Neal ran 16 times for 66 yards. John White added 54 yards on the ground on 10 carries and a score. Patrick Edwards had 7 catches for 64 yards in the win.

Stephen Garcia threw for 129 yards and two interceptions while completing 11 of 21 passes and ran for a score for Utah ( 3-3 ).  Marion Grice had 14 carries for 48 yards, plus 3 catches for 39 yards in the loss.
