SHARK ATTACK!



Miami Sharks  (1-0)- 17    Louisville Thoroughbreds  ( 0-1 )- 12

Louisville, Ky:  Miami's Terrance Sanders picked off a Bo Levi Mitchell pass and returned it 71 yards for a touchdown as the Miami Sharks upended the Louisville Thoroughbreds 17-12 before a packed house at PaPa John's Cardinal Stadium Friday night.

Miami quarterback Zach Collaros threw for 134 yards while completing 13 of 22 passes. David Cobb ran for 65 yards on 20 carries and a touchdown. Ezell Ruffin caught 4 passes for 54 yards, before leaving the game with an injury.  Terrance Sanders led the Sharks defense with 10 tackles,  2 pass defended and an interception.

Louisville was led by Bo Levi Mitchell, who threw for 186 yards and 2 interceptions while completing 18 of 39 passes.  Ray Rice ran for 51 yards on 13 carries. Ryan Spadola had 7 catches for 90 yards.  Corey Grant had a 99 yard kick return for a touchdown in the loss for the Thoroughbreds.

Miami moves to 1-0 on the season.  Louisville drops to 0-1.
