WEEK FOURTEEN: FRIDAY NIGHT RESULT


(9-4) Birmingham- 23    (4-10) Utah Mammoths- 17

 Salt Lake City, Ut:  Greg McElroy threw for 222 yards and 1 touchdown , while completing 19 of 28 passes with 2 sacks as the Birmingham Barracudas (9-4) defeated the Utah Mammoths 23-17 at Rice-Eccles stadium Friday night.

Nate Kimic ran for 71 yards and 1 touchdown on 16 carries. Travaris Cadet had 5 receptions for 62 yards, plus 13 carries for 48 yards. Josh Stewart caught 5 passes for 47 yards and a touchdown. Dustin Hopkins connected on 3 field goals in the win.

Ryan Alpine completed 16 of 30 passes for 267 yards and a touchdown, plus a touchdown run to lead the Mammoths. Marion Grice had 72 rushing yards on 16 carries. Cody Wilson had 6 receptions for 112 yards and Brian Leonhardt had a touchdown reception in the loss for the Mammoths.
