Carson, California: Josh Adams ran for two scores and Corey Coleman returned a punt 75 yards for a touchdown as the Los Angeles Stars destroyed the San Diego Diablos 42-3 at Dignity Health Park Friday night.
Nick Arbuckle completed 17 of 25 passes for 201 yards two touchdowns. A 29 yarder to Joey Fortson and a 31 yarder to Rashard Davis.
Fortson had 4 receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown. Rashard Davis caught 3 passes for 50 yards and a score. Larry Rose rushed for 53 yards and a score on 17 carries. Josh Adams had 10 carries for 27 yards and two touchdowns.
Channing Stribling recorded an interception, a forced fumble and 6 tackles. Jake Ryan racked up 6 tackles and a sack and Brandon Williams had a forced fumble and 6 tackles for L.A.
San Diego quarterback Bart Houston threw for 209 yards with 2 interceptions. Gardner Minchew came in late and completed 4 of 6 passes for 43 yards.
Samaje Perine ran 12 times for 46 yards and Naamon Roosevelt had 5 catches for 85 yards. Ryan Glasgow had a sack and 7 tackles. Duke Ejiofor had a sack and 4 tackles for San Diego in the loss.
