New Orleans, Louisiana: Corey Clement rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries to lead the Dallas Six Shooters past the New Orleans Nightmare 23-21 Friday night before a packed house at Youlman stadium in New Orleans.
Chris Carson ran 14 times for 41 yards. Chad Hansen had 7 receptions for 77 yards, Stephen Anderson had 7 catches for 45 yards, Corey Clement caught 4 passes for 40 yards, DeAngelo Yancey had 2 receptions for 20 yards and a touchdown and Dez Bryant caught 2 passes for 20 yards.
Mike Reilly completed 23 of 32 passes for 206 yards and a touchdown with one interception.
Marcus Hardison recorded a sack and 8 tackles, Desmond King had a forced fumble and 6 tackles and John Bowman had a forced fumble and 5 tackles for Dallas ( 4-8 ).
Connor Cook made the start for the Nightmare, replacing a injured Zach Mettenberger and made the most of his opportunity rallying the Nightmare from a 23-0 deficit in a come back that fell short.
Cook threw for 313 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran 6 times for 10 yards.
Austin Ekeler ran for a one yard score. CJ Anderson was held in check rushing 13 times for only 7 yards. Reggie White Jr had 6 catches for 77 yards and a touchdown, Derel Walker caught 6 passes for 90 yards, Rueben Randle had 5 receptions for 62 yards and a score and Robby Anderson had 4 catches for 47 yards.
Ukeme Eligwe had a interception and 5 tackles, Tramon Williams recorded 9 tackles, Eric Reid had 8 tackles and Victor Butler put up 8 tackles for the Nightmare ( 7-6 ).
