Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: James Franklin threw two touchdown passes to Keelan Cole as the Pittsburgh Forge take victories in both meetings with their cross state and division rivals, defeating the Philadelphia Bulldogs 23-14 Friday night at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.
Franklin completed 17 of 23 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran 16 times for 63 yards.
Andre Ellington rushed for 91 yards on 19 carries. Jordan Leggett had 6 receptions for 60 yards, Andre Ellington had 4 catches for 65 yards and Keelan Cole caught 2 passes for 24 yards and two touchdowns.
Shaquille Richardson recorded a forced fumble and 9 tackles, Anthony Brown had a interception and 6 tackles and Des Lawrence had a interception and 5 tackles for the Forge.
Philadelphia quarterback Aaron Murray threw for 275 yards and a touchdown with 3 interceptions, plus ran 6 times for 28 yards.
JaQuan Gardner ran 10 times for 34 yards and LeGarrette Blount ran for a score, rushing for 11 yards on 6 carries. SJ Green caught 6 passes for 156 yards and a touchdown, Ervin Phillips had 5 catches for 55 yards and Kenny Shaw had a 29 yard reception.
Carl Nassib recorded 2 sacks and 6 tackles, John Simon had a sack and 6 tackles, Deon Bush had 10 tackles and Chris Covington chipped in with a sack for Philadelphia.
