WEEK SEVENTEEN: FRIDAY NIGHT RESULT


(10-6)  Hartford- 14    (11-4-1) New York- 10

Storrs, Ct;  Colt Brennan threw for 260 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Hartford Sentinels (10-6) defeated the New York Phantoms (11-4-1) 14-10, therefore delaying the Phantoms claim on the Northeastern Division title.

Brennan completed 21 of 33 passes with 1 interception and sacked once. Miguel Maysonet ran 13 times for 72 yards. Joe Don Duncan had 6 receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown. Clarence Denmark also had a touchdown reception. Antonio Bryant caught 5 passes for 81 yards. Rashad Jones recorded 10 tackles, 1 hurry, a deflection and a forced fumble to lead the defense in the win.

Case Keenum led the Phantoms completing 29 of 40 passes for 320 yards. LaRon Council ran 12 times for 59 yards and a touchdown in the loss. Josh Hill had 8 receptions for 99 yards. Brett Maher converted 1 of 3 field goals. The Phantoms also had 10 penalties for 92 yards.
