WEEK TWENTY: FRIDAY NIGHT RESULTS


(9-8-1) Michigan- 50    (11-7) Columbus- 10

Detroit, Mi;  Aaron Murray threw for 327 yards and 5 touchdowns as the Michigan Panthers crushed Great Lakes division rival and Champion Columbus Explorers 50-10 before an enthusiastic crowd of 40,000 plus at Ford Field Friday night.

Murray finished the night completing 18 of 27 passes with 1 interception and was sacked once. Khari Robinson ran 20 times for 93 yards and a score, plus had 4 receptions for 48 yards. Andy Tanner caught 6 passes for 119 yards and 3 touchdowns. Jeremy Gallon had 4 receptions for 120 yards and a touchdown. Antavious Wilson also had a touchdown reception as the Panthers finish the season 9-8-1 and second place in the Great Lakes Division.

Columbus was lead by quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell who completed 15 of 32 passes for 204 yards, with 2 interceptions and was sacked 3 times. Adrian N. Peterson ran for a touchdown while rushing only 9 times for 36 yards. The Explorers were held to only 68 yards rushing, compared to 187 for Michigan.

The Explorers finish the regular season 11-7 and Great Lakes Division champion. They now await to see who they will face in the playoffs next week.
