Denver , Colorado; Josh Lambo kicked a game winning 28 yard field goal with ten seconds remaining in regulation , to lift the Sacramento Crusaders to a 39-37 victory over the Denver Miners before 37,000 at Mile High Stadium in Denver Friday night.
Trevone Boykin led the Crusaders , throwing for 244 yards and a touchdown on 16 of 25 passing. He also ran for 44 yards and 2 scores on 7 carries.
Stevan Ridley ran 23 times for 119 yards and a score. Vic Ballard ran for a touchdown, while rushing for 15 yards on 3 carries. Austin Hill caught 8 passes for 146 yards and a touchdown. Jeff Tisdale led the Crusaders defense with 11 tackles and a sack.
Denver quarterback Vad Lee completed 26 of 37 passes for 252 yards and 2 touchdowns, plus ran for 55 yards and a score on 8 carries to lead the Miners.
Antonio Andrews rushed for 76 yards and a score on 14 carries . Keyarris Garrett had 7 receptions for 108 yards and a touchdown . Marqueis Gray also had a touchdown reception .Alex Henery connected on 3 of 3 field goals. Jayron Kearse led the Miners defensive attack with 7 tackles and a pass deflection.
