A.F.F.A SUNDAY (5-27-18) RESULTS
(3-10-1) Georgia Generals - 34 (11-2-1) Miami Sharks - 34 (OT)
Miami, Florida: Tyler Ervin rumbled for 148 yards and 2 touchdowns on 30 carries ,plus had a touchdown reception for Georgia , but the game ended in a deadlock as the Georgia Generals and Miami Sharks played to a 34-34 tie Sunday at FIU Stadium Sunday afternoon
Colin Kaepernick completed 13 of 29 passes for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns , plus ran 6 times for 61 yards. Rueben Randall had 5 receptions for 48 yards and a score. Armonty Bryant led the defense with 10 tackles and a stuff .
Miami's Zach Collaros threw for 213 yards and 2 touchdowns, with one interception on 22 of 27 passing. David Cobb chewed up some ground as well, rushing for 133 yards on 33 carries. Jordan Howard had a touchdown run, rushing for 24 yards on 3 carries. Tajae Sharp caught 9 passes for 97 yards and a score. S.J. Green caught 5 passes for 51 yards and a score. Deon Long returned a kick 92 yards for a score .
Miami trailed for most of the game till Collaros connected with S.J. Green for a 8 yard touchdown pass to tie the game at 34. Neither team could score in the over-time period.
(6-8) Philadelphia Americans - 28 (4-10) Hartford Sentinels -0
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: John Crockett ran for 3 touchdowns, while rushing for 95 yards on 27 carries to lead the Philadelphia Americans to their fourth consecutive win with a dominating 28-0 shut out of the Hartford Sentinels at Talen Energy Stadium Sunday.
Alex Tanney completed 13 of 17 passes for 137 yards and was sacked once. Brandon Whitaker ran 12 times for 60 yards. D'Haquille Williams caught 4 passes for 43 yards . Mark Lewis went 3 for 3 on field goal attempts as the Americans improved to 6-8. The defense led by Xavier Wood and D.J. Alexander held the Sentinels to 182 total yards.
Connor Halliday completed 21 of 41 passes for 174 yards and was sacked twice to lead Hartford.
(9-5) Albuquerque Aztecs - 35 (7-7) Columbus Aviators - 29
Albuquerque, New Mexico; Travis Lulay completed 18 of 24 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown with one interception as the Albuquerque Aztecs moved closer to clinching the Frontier Division title and a playoff birth with a 35-29 victory over the Columbus Aviators before a packed house at University Stadium Sunday .
Ray Graham ran 9 times for 62 yards and a score. Tim Cornett had 13 carries for 45 yards and a score . David Fluellen ran for a touchdown while rushing for 38 yards on 3 carries. Rashad Green had a touchdown reception . Tommy Shuler had 6 receptions for 75 yards. Marquis Floyd and John Burris each had 7 tackles to lead the defense .
Chuckie Keeton completed 19 of 28 passes for 194 yards and 2 touchdowns and was sacked once, plus ran 11 times for 84 yards for Columbus . Eric Brietenstein ran 13 times for 79 yards and 2 touchdowns. Andrew Turzilli had 4 catches for 58 yards and a score. Jared Abbrederis caught 4 passes for 42 yards and a touchdown. Phillip Stewart led the defense with 9 tackles and a stuff.
(10-4) St.Louis Scouts - 27 (6-8) Denver Miners - 19
Denver ,Colorado ; Jerome Messum rumbled for 241 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns on 27 carries, plus caught 5 passes for 60 yards to power the St.Louis Scouts to a 27-19 victory over the Denver Miners at Sports Authority Field @ Mile High Sunday night.
Robert Griffin III completed 16 of 27 passes for 180 yards and a score. He was sacked once. E.J. Bibbs had a touchdown reception in the win .
Vad Lee threw for 202 yards and 2 touchdowns while completing 17 of 39 passing. He also ran 10 times for 73 yards to lead Denver . Antonio Andrews ran 14 times for 46 yards. Hunter Sharp had 5 catches for 55 yards and a score. Keyarris Garrett caught 3 passes for 52 yards and a score . Vince Williams led the defense with 9 tackles.

(9-5) Portland Pioneers - 34 (11-3) Louisville Thoroughbreds - 20
Portland, Oregon; Bryan Bennett threw for 301 yards and 2 touchdowns, plus ran for a touchdown while rushing for 81 yards on 13 carries as the Portland Pioneers defeated the Louisville Thoroughbreds 34-20, delighting the over flow crowd at Providence Park in Portland Sunday night.
Bennett finished completing 21 of 29 passing for the night. Wendell Smallwood ran 17 times for 63 yards. Paul James ran for a touchdown while rushing for only 35 yards on 8 carries . Allen Hurns had 5 receptions for 47 yards and 2 touchdowns . Titus Davis had 5 catches for 79 yards in the win.
Louisville who fell to 11-3 was led by Bo Levi Mitchell who completed 19 of 35 passes for 285 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was sacked once.
Ray Rice was held to 34 yards on 10 carries, and caught 8 passes for 58 yards. Ryan Spadola had 5 catches for 105 yards and a touchdown. Josh Stewart caught 4 passes for 108 yards and a score. Josh Brown connected on 2 of 2 field goal attempts in the loss for the Thoroughbreds.
