Miami, Florida: Blake Sims completed 18 of 24 passes for 291 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 sack, as the Houston Roughnecks sent the Miami Sharks to their third straight loss with a 27- 19 victory Saturday at FIU Stadium in Miami.
Kapri Bibbs rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Ricardo Louis caught 4 passes for 89 yards. Ito Smith had 3 receptions for 64 yards and a score. Jason Avant had 4 catches for 48 yards and a touchdown. Trey Barrow converted on 2 of 2 field goals with a long of 43.
Khreem Smith recorded 7 tackles and Mike Patterson had 5 tackles, 2 sacks, a stuff and 2 forced fumbles. Earl Wolff had 6 tackles as the Roughnecks moved to 2-0.
