Salt Lake City, Utah: Bo Levi Mitchell threw for 365 yards and 3 touchdowns in leading the Louisville Thoroughbreds to a 27-17 win over the Utah Mammoths at Rice-Eccles Stadium Friday night.
Mitchell completed 27 of 38 passing and was sacked three times. Ray Rice ran 16 times for 73 yards, plus caught 7 passes for 55 yards and a touchdown. Josh Stewart had 9 receptions for 191 yards and two touchdowns, including a 77 yard touchdown reception. Cameron Meredith had 5 catches for 63 yards. Jordan Kovacs led the defense with 9 tackles. AJ Johnson, Joe Sykes, Ejuan Price and Cameron Lawrence each recorded a sack as the Thoroughbreds pretty much lock up a playoff berth.
Chris Streveler completed 21 of 38 yards for 235 yards and a touchdown. He was sacked four times. Garrett Grayson completed 3 of 5 passes for 80 yards and a score. Devontae Booker rushed for 50 yards on 10 carries. Madison Magnum had 7 receptions for 92 yards. Dontea Dye caught 3 passes for 80 yards and a touchdown. DeAndre Carter caught 6 passes for 70 yards and a touchdown. Steve Octavia recorded 8 tackles. Jaylen Reeves, D'Quan Bowers and Jackson Jefferson each recorded a sack for the Mammoths.
