A.F.F.A WEEK TWELVE SUNDAY RESULTS
( 7-4 ) Virginia Tritons- 34 ( 5-7 ) Hartford Sentinels- 6
Storrs, Connecticut: Mike Bercovici threw for 323 yards and two touchdowns as the Virginia Tritons rolled over the Hartford Sentinels 34-6 Sunday at Rentschler Stadium
With 9:13 remaining in the first quarter, Mike Bercovici threw a 57 yard touchdown pass to Dontella Luckett. Justin Tucker added the extra point giving Virginia a 7-0 lead. Kenneth Dixon scored on a 7 yard scamper giving the Tritons a 14-0 lead with 4:12 remaining in the first half. Hartford made it 14-3 as Boris Bede booted a 50 yard field goal with 1:53 remaining in the half. Virginia answered back as Justin Tucker converted from 52 yards out to end the half.
Halftime: Virginia- 17 Hartford- 3
Hartford made it 17-6 with 4:14 remaining in the third, as Boris Bede kicked a 40 yard field goal. With 0:18 left in the third, Mike Bercovici found Dontella Luckett again, this time from 15 yards out. Virginia now led 24-6. The Tritons added 10 more as Justin Tucker kicked a 22 yard field goal and Chris Hairston scored on a 4 yard touchdown run.

Mike Bercovici completed 20 of 25 passes for 323 yards and 2 touchdowns. He threw 1 interception and was sacked 3 times. Chris Hairston ran 9 times for 55 yards and a touchdown. Kenneth Dixon rushed for 45 yards and a score on 11 carries. Dontella Luckett had a monster game catching 9 passes for 213 yards and 2 touchdowns. Chad Owens had 6 receptions for 66 yards. Khalil Bass led the defense with 9 tackles and 2 sacks. David Parry, Devon Kennard, Reshard Cliett and Leon Orr also recorded a sack apiece.
Hartford quarterback Mike White completed 23 of 39 passes for 161 yards and a interception. He was sacked 6 times. Aaron Green rushed for 60 yards on 6 carries. Jamal Robinson caught 5 passes for 49 yards. Devonta Freeman and Nick Boyle also had 5 receptions. Jamar Chaney had 8 tackles, while Danny Lansanah, Alfonso Dennard and James Ruffin recorded a sack.

St. Louis, Missouri: The Chicago Stags locked up their third straight Great Lakes Division title and a playoff berth with a convincing 27-7 victory over the St. Louis Scouts Sunday at the Dome at Americas Center. Brandon Doughty threw for 290 yards and a touchdown to lead the 11-1 Stags.
Brandon Doughty connected with Willie Snead for a 19 yard touchdown pass with 4:36 remaining in the first giving the Stags a 7-0 lead. With 11:03 remaining in the second quarter, Alfred Morris barreled in from 4 yards out as the Stags moved out to a 14-0 lead. The route was on! With 9:09 left in the half Kris Frost scooped up a fumble and returned it 65 yards to paydirt. Chicago led 21-0. Nick Pertuit booted 2 field goals ( 44 & 27) stretching the Stags lead to 27-0. St. Louis prevented the shutout with 5:33 remaining as Robert Griffin III tossed a 4 yard touchdown pass to Andy Jones.

Brandon Doughty completed 19 of 29 passes for 290 yards and a touchdown. He was sacked once. Alfred Morris rushed for 79 yards and a score on 23 carries. Derel Walker had 7 receptions for 109 yards. Willie Snead caught 5 passes for 56 yards and a touchdown. Leshaun Sims tallied 9 tackles and a pass deflection. Stansly Maponga recorded 2 sacks and Tyler Matakavich recorded a sack in the win.
Robert Griffin III threw for 190 yards and a touchdown with 2 interceptions on 18 of 32 passing. He was sacked 3 times. RG3 also ran 5 times for 57 yards. Andy Jones caught 8 passes for 68 yards and a score. Kenbrell Thompkins hauled in 4 passes for 56 yards. Thomas DeCoud and John Timu each had 7 tackles. Teddy Jennings recorded a sack in the loss for St. Louis.

Oakland, California: Antonio Andrews rumbled for 137 yards rushing and a touchdown on 20 carries as the Oakland Renegades defeated the Utah Mammoths at Oakland Alameda Coliseum Sunday evening. Vad Lee completed 18 of 25 passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns. Keyarris Garrett caught 6 passes for 88 yards and a touchdown and Gator Hoskins also had a touchdown reception in the win. Utah quarterback Chris Streveler threw for 333 yards and a touchdown to lead Utah.
( 7-4 ) Houston Roughnecks- 24 ( 3-8 ) Philadelphia Freedom- 21
Houston, Texas: Malcom Brown ran for two touchdowns while rushing for 108 yards and two touchdowns as the Houston Roughnecks kept their playoff hopes alive with a 24-21 victory over the Philadelphia Freedom at TDCEU Stadium Sunday night. Kapri Bibbs ran 24 times for 106 yards and a score. Blake Sims threw for 215 yards and was sacked four times. Jamison Crowder had 9 catches for 122 yards in the win. Drew Willy led Philadelphia completing 19 of 38 passes for 210 yards and a touchdown. He was sacked four times.

Orlando, Florida: Ka'imi Fairbairn kicked the game winning field goal with sixteen seconds remaining in overtime as the San Antonio Cimarrons defeated the Orlando Vipers 33-30 at Orlando City Stadium Sunday night. Tajh Boyd completed 28 of 45 passes for 329 yards and 2 touchdowns despite being sacked 6 times. He also ran 18 times for 52 yards scrambling for his life. Jamaal Jones caught 8 passes for 135 yards. KaDeem Carey and Adarius Bowman each had a touchdown reception. Ben Heeney recorded 14 tackles for the defense. Matt Barkley led Orlando throwing for 299 yards and a touchdown with 1 interception. Jahad Thomas ran 24 times for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns. Isaiah Burse caught 11 passes for 125 yards. Jayon Brown and Matt Judon each recorded 2 sacks for the Vipers defense.
