WEEK THIRTEEN SUNDAY RESULTS



( 9-4 ) Pittsburgh Ironmen- 45   ( 7-5 ) Virginia Tritons- 42

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania:  Alex Carder completed 38 of 55 passes for 412 yards and 5 touchdowns as the Pittsburgh Ironmen defeated the Virginia Tritons 45-42 Sunday in a game where a total of 939 yards of offense was tallied.

Alec Lemon had 13 receptions for 146 yards and 2 touchdowns. Eric Rogers caught 10 passes for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns. Luke Wilson had 4 receptions for 55 yards and Jeremy Langford had a touchdown reception, catching 2 passes for 13 yards. Cord Parks had 9 tackles and a sack. Mike Edwards had 9 tackles. Jamari Lattimore had a sack to go along with his 5 tackles. Kevin Toliver had 1 interception for 38 yards .Swayze Waters connected on 3 of 3 field goals with a long of 45 yards as the Ironmen inch closer to clinching their third consecutive Atlantic Division title.

Virginia's Mike Bercovici completed 26 of 39 passing for 373 yards and 6 touchdowns with an interception.  Chris Hairston led all rushers with 46 yards on 8 carries.  Chad Owens had 10 receptions for 103 yards and 4 touchdowns. Dontella Luckett caught 9 passes for 191 yards and a score. Kenneth Dixon had a touchdown reception,  catching 3 passes for 17 yards, to go along with his 40 rushing yards on 10 carries.

LaDarius Gunter and Sam Shields each recorded 10 tackles. Devon Kennard had 3 tackles, 2 sacks and a pass deflection. John Ojo had 1 interception for 33 yards as the Virginia Tritons fall to 7-5.

( 7-6 ) Omaha Bulls- 25   ( 11-2 ) Chicago Stags- 24

Omaha, Nebraska:  Rakeem Cato threw for two touchdowns and ran for another, as the Omaha Bulls handed the Chicago Stags their second loss in three games, defeating the Stags 25-24 before a jubilant crowd of 21,433 at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha Sunday.

Cato finished completing 13 of 17 passes for 159 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 sack. He also rushed for 71 yards on 7 carries and a score. Trent Richardson had 90 yards rushing and a touchdown on 17 carries.  Mike Thomas caught 4 passes for 65 yards and 2 touchdowns. Da'Ron Brown had 4 catches for 52 yards. Will Hill led the defense with 7 tackles and a pass deflection. Steven Daniels had 5 tackles, 1 sack and 2 pass deflections. Brandon Boykin had 1 interception for 50 yards as the Bulls remained in the playoff hunt at 7-6. Aarion Penton also had an interception for 35 yards.

Chicago's Brandon Doughty completed 21 of 37 passing for 227 yards and 2 touchdowns with 2 interceptions and sacked 3 times. Alfred Morris ran 14 times for 95 yards. Willie Snead had 9 receptions for 110 yards and a score.  Roger Lewis caught 7 passes for 88 yards and Josh Malone had a touchdown reception.

Kyle Emanuel and Kris Frost each recorded 7 tackles. Zackary Brown had a 19 yard blocked punt return for a touchdown and Donte Paige had a sack as the Great Lakes Division champion Stags fall to 11-2.

( 10-3 ) Albuquerque Aztecs- 17   ( 7-5 ) Houston Roughnecks- 14

Houston, Texas:  Richie Leone kicked a game winning 37 yard field goal with just under a minute to play as the Albuquerque Aztecs defeated the Houston Roughnecks 17-14 at TDECU Stadium Sunday before an estimated crowd of just over 30,000.

Travis Lulay threw for 241 yards and 2 touchdowns on 17 of 28 passing with 1 sack. Tim Cornett ran 12 times for 82 yards. Rashad Green caught 4 passes for 88 yards. Brian Parker caught 4 passes for 69 yards. Tommy Shuler had 3 receptions for 32 yards and a touchdown.  William Powell had a touchdown reception, catching 2 passes for 23 yards. Avery Williams recorded 11 tackles. Tre Flowers and Deiontrez Mount each recorded 7 tackles. Adam Bighill had 6 tackles, 1 sack, 1 pass deflection and a hurry as the Aztecs moved to 10-3 and on the verge of clinching their second consecutive Frontier Division title.

Blake Sims completed 27 of 43 passing for 311 yards and a touchdown with 1 sack. Kapri Bibbs had 50 yards on 19 carries. Malcom Brown ran for a score while rushing for 40 yards on 11 carries. Deontay Grey caught 9 passes for 122 yards. Jamison Crowder had 8 receptions for 101 yards. Jason Avant had a touchdown reception, catching 5 passes for 64 yards. Randall Evans and Donte Whitner led the defense with 5 tackles apiece. Odell Willis recorded a sack as Houston fell to 7-5.

( 6-7 ) Memphis HoundDogs- 33   ( 4-8 ) Arkansas Diamond Miners- 10

Little Rock, Arkansas:  Ricky Ray tossed two touchdowns to Marcus Johnson as the Memphis HoundDogs chewed up the Arkansas Diamond Miners 33-10 Sunday before 27,008 at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.

Ray completed 18 of 27 passing for 228 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was intercepted twice and sacked twice. Cameron Artis Payne ran 20 times for 111 yards.  L'Damian Washington had 7 receptions for 101 yards. Marcus Johnson finished with 4 receptions for 83 yards and 2 touchdowns. Tim Hightower also had a touchdown reception in the win.

Alani Fua had 10 tackles and a sack. Harlan Miller recorded 8 tackles, a pass deflection and a forced fumble. Ethan Westbrook, Devante Brown and Jordan Evans each recorded a sack as the HoundDogs remained mathematically alive for a playoff berth.

Colby Cameron threw for 217 yards and was sacked 4 times on 21 of 34 passing. He also ran 21 times for 68 yards and a score. Cody Hoffman had 10 receptions for 107 yards. Chris Covington had 9 tackles, 2 pass deflections, a stuff and a forced fumble. Antwione Williams recorded 7 tackles and a forced fumble. Justin Cole had a interception for 7 yards.

Rumors are circulating in Little Rock that Diamond Miners head coach Gary Crowton may be on the verge of losing his job as Arkansas dropped to 4-8.

( 9-3 ) Birmingham Beast- 41   ( 8-5 ) Dallas Outlaws- 24

Dallas, Texas:  Trevor Harris completed 20 of 30 passing for 352 yards and 3 touchdowns as the defending Mid South Division champion Birmingham Beast mauled divisional foe Dallas Outlaws 41-24 in a battle of division powers Sunday before a sold out Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas Sunday.

Rex Burkhead rushed for 77 yards and 2 touchdowns on 17 carries. Jakeem Grant caught 6 passes for 108 yards and a score. Rashard Higgins had 6 receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown. Casey Pierce caught 3 passes for 82 yards, including a 59 yard touchdown reception. Jamar Wallace recorded 6 tackles and DeAndre Collins added 3 sacks as the Beast moved to 9-3.

Dallas quarterback Mike Reilly completed 16 of 32 passing for 208 yards and a touchdown with 3 sacks, plus ran for a touchdown. Ben Tate ran 15 times for 63 yards and a touchdown. Jasper Collins caught 8 passes for 106 yards. Bud Sasser had 3 receptions for 39 yards and a touchdown. Josh Norman led the Dallas defense with 8 tackles. Ogbonnia Okoronkwo and Brandian Ross each recorded a sack as the Outlaws trip to 8-5.

( 3-9 ) Portland Pioneers- 31   ( 4-8 ) Utah Mammoths- 28

Portland, Oregon:  Brian Bennett threw for 3 touchdowns and ran for another as the Portland Pioneers defeated the Utah Mammoths 31-28 at Providence Park in Portland Sunday night.

Bryan Bennett completed 14 of 29 passes for 332 yards and 3 touchdowns with one interception. He also ran 22 times for 32 yards and a score.  Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 80 yards on 12 carries.  Geremy Davis caught 6 passes for 161 yards. Titus Davis had 3 receptions for 84 yards and two touchdowns. Keevan Lucas had two receptions for 40 yards and a score. Scooby Wright had 10 tackles, a sack and a interception. Christian Lacouture recorded 9 tackles. Brian Poole also recorded a sack in the win.

Chris Streveler completed 16 of 30 passes for 186 yards and 3 touchdowns with an interception and a sack. He also ran for 46 yards on 10 carries.  Devontae Booker rushed for 162 yards and a score on 22 carries. Plus caught 5 passes for 40 yards.  Madison Magnum had 3 receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown.  DeAndre Carter caught 4 passes for 38 yards and 2 touchdowns. Tremon Smith led the Mammoths defense with 6 tackles and a pass deflection.

( 2-11 ) St. Louis Scouts- 34   ( 5-8 ) Georgia Generals- 6

St. Louis, Missouri:  Robert Griffin III threw for 237 yards and 2 touchdowns while completing 23 of 31 passes as the St. Louis Scouts dismantled the Georgia Generals 34-6 at the Dome at Americas Center in St.Louis Sunday night.
