St. Louis Stallions ( 9-6 )- 28 Louisville Cougars ( 11-4 )- 23
St. Louis, Missouri: Trailing 16-0 at the half, the St. Louis Stallions scored 28 unanswered points in the third quarter, then held on to defeat the Louisville Cougars 28-23 before 56,000 at the Dome in St. Louis Friday night.
Robert Griffin III threw for 141 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception. He ran for 26 yards on 6 carries.
Mike Gillislee ran 14 times for 102 yards and a touchdown. Joshua Crockett had 4 receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown and Mason Shreck caught 4 passes for 42 yards and 2 touchdowns.
David Mayo had 13 tackles and a forced fumble, Rashard Fant recorded a sack and 4 tackles, Tavon Young had a interception and 6 tackles and Will Geary had a pick and 3 tackles for the Stallions who improved to ( 9-6 ) on the year.
Bo Levi Mitchell completed 24 of 35 passes for 222 yards and a touchdown with 2 interceptions to lead Louisville.
Kareem Hunt rushed for 96 yards on 21 carries and had 6 receptions for 37 yards. Kenbrell Thompkins had 5 catches for 44 yards, Kendrick Bourne caught 4 passes for 47 yards and Chris Warren had 3 catches for 28 yards.
Rashad Fenton had 2 interceptions and 4 tackles and Bobby Richardson had a sack and 3 tackles for Louisville who saw their 7 game win streak snapped. Louisville drops to 11-4.
