Salt Lake City, Utah: Dak Prescott threw two first quarter touchdowns in leading the Utah Mammoths to a 20-7 victory over the Houston Wranglers before a capacity crowd at Rice- Eccles Stadium in Utah.
Prescott completed 16 of 24 passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Cierre Wood ran for 45 yards on 13 carries. Tyrell Sutton had nine carries for 43 yards. Darius Johnson caught 5 passes for 75 yards and a touchdown. Dominick Goodman had 5 receptions for 70 yards and a score. Charleston Hughes led the defense with 10 tackles, one sack and a stuff.
Vince Young led the Wranglers attack completing 8 of 20 passes for 107 yards, but threw one touchdown. Young also ran 11 times for 90 yards. Kapri Bibbs ran for 75 yards on 19 carries. Jamison Crowder caught two passes for 51 yards and Jordan Leslie had a touchdown reception.
Utah improves to 8-2. Houston falls to 3-7.
