PANTHERS DROP SENTINELS 19-6 ON A.F.F.A FRIDAY NIGHT


( 5-2 ) Michigan - 19      ( 3-4 ) Hartford - 6

Detroit, Michigan;   Albert Wilson returned a third quarter punt 42 yards for a touchdown as the Michigan Panthers  ( 5-2 ) defeated the Hartford Sentinels 19-6 before near 30,000 at Ford Field Friday night.

Cody Kessler threw for 108 yards,  with 1 interception and was sacked 3 times. Paul Perkins ran 11 times for 62 yards. Albert Wilson had 4 catches for 48 yards to go with his punt return for a touchdown. Jason Oberkrom went 4 for 4 on field goals in the win.

The Sentinels were led by quarterback Connor Halliday who completed 18 of 28 passes for 157 yards, with 3 interceptions and sacked twice.  Devon Johnson ran 12 times for 73 yards and Julian Edelman had 7 receptions for 59 yards.

Will Parks recorded 9 tackles to lead the Panthers defense.
