WEEK SEVEN SUNDAY WRAP UP!
( 3-3 ) Hartford - 30 ( 1-6 ) Philadelphia - 19
Hartford, Ct; Devon Johnson ran for 81 yards and a score on 17 carries as the Harford Sentinels defeated the Philadelphia Bulldogs 30-19 before just over 18,000 at Rentschler Stadium in Storrs, Ct.
( 2-5 ) Columbus - 52 ( 2-5 ) Houston - 49
Houston, Tx; Eric Brietenstein ran for 5 touchdowns while rushing for 126 yards on 18 carries as the Columbus Explorers outgunned the Houston Wranglers 52-49 in a shootout at TDECU Stadium in Houston.
Houston quarterback Vince Young threw for 308 yards and 3 touchdowns, completing 22 of 26 passes with one interception. He also ran for a score while rushing for 31 yards on 4 carries.
( 5-2 ) New Orleans - 34 ( 2-6 ) Omaha - 10
New Orleans, La; Jerome Messum rumbled for 146 yards and a score on 12 carries, plus caught 5 passes for 55 yards to lead the New Orleans Nightmare to a 34-10 victory over the Omaha Bulls Sunday afternoon at Yulman Stadium in New Orleans.
Nightmare quarterback Colby Cameron threw for 163 yards and one touchdown with one interception, while completing 15 of 30 passes.
The Bulls were lead by quarterback Rakeem Cato who completed 19 of 34 passes for 223 yards and sacked once. Running back Trent Richardson ran 14 times for 69 yards.
( 5-2 ) Dallas - 29 ( 2-5 ) Orlando -10
Dallas, Tx; Mike Reilly completed 17 of 30 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Dallas Outlaws to a 29-10 victory over the Orlando Vipers before 23,000 at Gerald J. Ford Stadium Sunday. He threw one interception and was sacked three times.
Lennon Creer ran for 52 yards and a score. Bud Sasser and Malcolm Mitchell each had a touchdown reception for the Outlaws in the win.
Orlando quarterback Tim Tebow threw for 127 yards and one touchdown, with two interceptions and was sacked five times. He ran 11 times for only 20 yards.
( 2-5 ) Arizona - 31 ( 2-5 ) Carolina - 20
Glendale, Az; Arizona running back Tim Cornett ran 19 times for 114 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Arizona Scorpions took down the Carolina Swarm 31-20 before 19,417 at University of Phoenix stadium in Glendale Sunday.
Scorpions quarterback Travis Lulay threw for 193 yards and sacked 3 times while completing 16 of 26 passes.
Shane Carder lead the Swarm throwing for 233 yards and two touchdowns while completing 19 of 33 passes. Tony Lippett had 3 catches for 96 yards and a score. Dustin Keller also had a touchdown reception.
( 5-2 ) Utah - 21 ( 5-2 ) Los Angeles - 13
Salt Lake City, Ut; Dak Prescott threw for one touchdown and ran for another as the Utah Mammoths defeated the Los Angeles Pharaohs 21-13 in a Pacific Division showdown at Rice-Eccles Stadium Sunday night
Prescott finished completing 21 of 35 passes for 229 yards and one touchdown with one sack. He ran for 40 yards and a score on 9 carries. Tyrell Sutton ran for 108 yards and a score on 12 carries in the win.
Jay Ajayi led the Pharaohs, rushing 23 times for 147 yards.
