WEEK SIX SUNDAY WRAP UP!


( 4-2 ) New York -17      ( 1-5 ) Philadelphia -0

Philadelphia, Pa;  Johnny Manziel hit Aaron Burbridge for a 47 yard second quarter touchdown pass and Dee Hart ran for another as the New York Emporers ( 4-2 ) shut out the Philadelphia Bulldogs 17-0 before 21,000 at Talen Energy Stadium Sunday afternoon.

Manziel finished completing 10 of 16 passes for 156 yards and one touchdown.  Aaron Burbridge caught 3 passes for 73 yards and a score.  Matt Walter led all rushers, running for 105 yards on 24 carries. Dee Hart finished with 2 carries for 16 yards and a score. Lamar Miller contributed with 54 yards on 13 carries.

Drew Willy led Philadelphia completing only 8 of 19 passes for 106 yards with one interception and sacked twice.  John Crockett ran 18 times for 72 yards as the Bulldogs fall to 1-5.

( 4-2 ) Dallas - 42     ( 2-4 ) Memphis - 21

Dallas, Tx;  Dallas quarterback Mike Reilly threw for 276 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Dallas Outlaws toppled the Memphis Knights 42-21 before a near capacity crowd at Gerald J. Ford stadium Sunday.

Lennon Creer had 18 carries for 103 yards and 3 touchdowns. Wes Saxton had 8 receptions for 88 yards.  Bud Sadder caught 5 passes for 45 yards and a score and Malcolm Mitchell chipped in 5 receptions for 68 yards and a score.

Ricky Ray completed 31 of 44 passes for 258 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception and sacked 4 times to lead Memphis. Cameron Artis Payne ran 13 times for 55 yards. Ryan Smith had 8 receptions for 64 yards and a score. Marcus Johnson caught 7 passes for 62 yards and a score. Neal Sterling had 2 receptions for 27 yards and a score.  Austin Collie caught 8 passes for 64 yards in the loss for the Knights.

Dallas moves to 4-2. While Memphis falls to 2-4.

( 2-4 ) Carolina - 44     ( 2-4 ) Orlando - 28

Raleigh, NC;  Zach Zenner ran 12 times for 66 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Carolina Swarm defeated the Orlando Vipers 44-28 at Carter Finley Stadium Sunday afternoon.

Swarm quarterback Shane Carder had another impressive outing as he threw for 209 yards and 4 touchdowns and sacked twice.  Dusty Keller caught 7 passes for 90 yards and two touchdowns.  Luke Tasker had 4 receptions for 38 yards and two touchdowns for the Swarm who improved to 2-4.

Orlando quarterback Tim Tebow threw for 279 yards and 4 touchdowns to lead the Vipers  ( 2-4 ).  Alex Collins ran 18 times for 112 yards,  plus 2 touchdown receptions.  Cam Worthy caught 10 passes for 77 yards and a score. De'Runnya Wilson had 5 catches for 66 yards and a score in the loss.

( 4-2 ) Chicago - 43     ( 1-5 ) Columbus - 17

Chicago, Illinois;  Brandon Doughty completed 26 of 32 passes for 395 yards and 3 touchdowns with 2 sacks as the Chicago Stags ( 4-2 ) defeated the Columbus Explorers 43-17 before 24,200 at Soldier Field Sunday .

Marcus Murphy had another 100 yard game, rushing for 127 yards and a score. Alonzo Harris and  Zack Brooks also ran for a touchdown.  Roger Lewis caught 8 passes for 123 yards and a score. Willie Snead had 8 receptions for 103 yards. Gator Hoskins chipped in with 3 receptions for 67 yards and a score.

Terrell Pryor completed only 9 of 12 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown. He was sacked once.  Joseph Randall ran 7 times for 92 yards.  Eric Brietenstein had 6 carries for 77 yards and a score.  Andrew Turzilli caught 3 passes for 76 yards and a score in the loss for the Explorers  ( 1-5 ).

( 4-2 ) San Antonio - 13    ( 1-5 ) Arizona - 6

San Antonio, Tx;  Tajh Boyd completed 27 of 41 passes for 316 yards and one touchdown as the San Antonio Six-Shooters defeated the Arizona Scorpions 13-6 before 23,400 at Alamo Stadium Sunday evening.

Marshaun Coprich had 62 yards rushing on 14 carries. Jamaal Jones caught 7 passes for 104 yards and a score. Adarius Bowman had 7 receptions for 95 yards in the win for the Six-Shooters.

Travis Lulay threw for 175 yards and one touchdown. He was sacked once.  Tim Cornett ran 12 times for 62 yards. Rashad Green caught 6 passes for 112 yards and a score in the loss for the Scorpions who fall to 1-5.

( 4-2 ) Michigan - 30      ( 2-4 ) Omaha - 20

Omaha, Nebraska;  Cody Kessler threw for 202 yards and 2 touchdowns, with 1 sack to lead the Michigan Panthers to a 30-20 victory over the Omaha Bulls at TD Ameritrade Field in Omaha Sunday.

Paul Perkins ran 15 times for 72 yards and a score, plus caught 6 passes for 46 yards.  Joseph Fauria had 5 receptions for 70 yards and a score, while Albert Wilson had 4 catches for 56 yards and a score in the win.

Omaha was led by quarterback Rakeem Cato who completed 23 of 33 passes for 221 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was sacked once.  Trent Richardson ran for 77 yards on 20 carries, plus caught 7 passes for 68 yards.  Da'Ron Brown caught 5 passes for 40 yards and a score. Bralon Addison also had a touchdown reception in the loss for the Bulls.

Michigan improves to 4-2

Omaha falls to 2-4
