A.F.F.A SUNDAY RESULTS (4-29-18)
(5-5) Arkansas Rhinos - 44 (4-6) New York Empire - 10
Little Rock, Arkansas: Rannell Hall caught 5 passes for 135 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead the Arkansas Rhinos to a 44-10 route of the New York Empire Sunday afternoon at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock .
Colby Cameron completed 19 of 30 passes for 245 yards and 3 touchdowns . Jordan Canzeri ran 10 times for 52 yards and a score. Trent Steelman had 2 catches for 19 yards and a touchdown, plus ran for 30 yards and a score on 5 carries. Damien Swann had a 37 yard interception return for a touchdown. Alex Okafor led the defense with 10 tackles , 3 sacks, 1 pass deflection, 2 stuffs and a forced fumble.
Johnny Manziel threw for 165 yards on 17 of 31 passing with 2 interceptions .He was sacked 5 times. Darrin Reaves ran for a score as the Empire drop to 4-6.
(6-4) Albuquerque Aztecs - 28 (3-7) Hartford Sentinels - 13
Storrs , Connecticut; Travis Lulay completed 24 of 33 passes for 249 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead the Albuquerque Aztecs to a 28-13 victory over the Hartford Sentinels at Rentschler Field in Storrs .
David Fluellen rushed for 84 yards on 19 carries. Brian Parker had 6 receptions for 60 yards. Tommy Shuler caught 5 passes for 56 yards and a score . Rashad Green caught 3 passes for 33 yards and a touchdown. Adam Bighill had a 44 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown as the Aztecs run their record to 6-4.
Connor Halliday completed 27 of 47 passes for 231 yards and a touchdown to lead Hartford. He was sacked once. Julian Edelman had 10 catches for 98 yards . Jamal Robinson had a touchdown reception , catching 4 passes for 27 yards . Devonta Freeman had 9 receptions for 80 yards. Hartford falls to 3-7.
(8-2) St.Louis Scouts - 31 (6-4) Oklahoma Roughnecks - 27
Norman, Oklahoma; Robert Griffin III threw for 258 yards and 3 touchdowns as the St.Louis Scouts defeated the Oklahoma Roughnecks 31-27.
Zack Laskey ran 10 times for 60 yards and Josh Robinson ran for a score. Nick Toon caught 8 passes for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns . Kenbrell Tompkins caught 7 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown. Taylor Loffler led the defense with 10 tackles and a pass deflection.
Oklahoma quarterback Matt Johnson led the Roughnecks, throwing for 305 yards and a touchdown on 30 of 41 passing . He threw one interception and was sacked 4 times.
Thomas Rawls ran for 80 yards and a score on 13 carries. Dennis Johnson ran 9 times for 44 yards and a score. Josh Harper had 12 receptions for 128 yards . Chris Moore caught 6 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown.
(5-5) Columbus Aviators - 27 (5-5) Dallas Outlaws -13
Columbus , Ohio; Chuckie Keeton completed 18 of 23 passes for 161 yards, plus ran 12 times for 48 yards in leading the Columbus Aviators to their third consecutive victory with a 27-13 win over the Dallas Outlaws.
Eric Brietenstein rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Jeff Scott ran 11 times for 39 yards and 2 touchdowns. Mycole Pruitt caught 8 passes for 80 yards. Deion Belue led the defense with 7 tackles and a pass deflection.
Mike Reilly led Dallas completing 16 of 32 passes for 179 yards. Ben Tate ran 13 times for 42 yards. Jasper Collins had 3 receptions for 44 yards. Casey Paschal came in late and threw a 45 yard touchdown pass to Demiere Byrd.
(5-5) Denver Miners - 36 (4-6) Carolina Breakers - 10
Denver , Colorado; Kyshoen Jarrett returned 2 punts for touchdowns (83, 96) to lead the Denver Miners to a 36-10 victory over the Carolina Breakers Sunday night at Mile High.
Antonio Andrews ran for 133 yards and a score on 21 carries . Vad Lee threw for 180 yards, while completing 18 of 26 passes. Kevon Seymour had a 19 yard interception return for a touchdown. Alex Henery connected on 3 of 4 field goals in the win for the Miners.
(7-3) Sacramento Crusaders - 30 (3-7) Orlando Vipers - 14
Sacramento, California; Trevone Boykin completed 21 of 31 passes for 312 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Sacramento Crusaders defeated the Orlando Vipers 30 -14 Sunday night before a sold out Hughes Stadium crowd .
Stevan Ridley ran for 90 yards and a score on 14 carries . Austin Hill caught 7 passes for 167 yards and a score. Kenny Still had 6 receptions for 64 yards and 2 touchdowns. Houston Battle led the defense with 8 tackles and a hurry.
