Carson, California; Tajh Boyd completed 13 of 22 passes for 186 yards and a touchdown to lead the San Antonio Mustangs to a 30-14 victory over the Los Angeles Pharaohs Friday night at the Stub Hub Center in Carson.
Boyd threw one interception and was sacked twice . He also ran 7 times for 12 yards. Michael Ford ran for 56 yards on 11 carries. Marshaun Coprich ran for 2 touchdowns while rushing for 52 yards on 16 carries , plus a touchdown reception. Ka'imi Fairbairn connected on 3 of 5 field goal attempts. Scott Solomon led the Mustangs defense with 7 tackles, 1 sack and a forced fumble .
Jeff Driskell threw for 166 yards and a touchdown, while completing 14 of 37 passes . He was sacked 3 times to lead Los Angeles. He also ran for a score, while rushing for 29 yards on 9 carries. Eric Ward caught 5 passes for 102 yards . Mario Alford had a touchdown reception, catching 3 passes for 27 yards . Jay Ajayi was held to 32 yards rushing on 6 carries in the loss.
