Let Herschel Run!

The American Spring Football League has offered 52 year old former star running back Herschel Walker an open invitation to play football once again.

" If Mr. Walker decides he would like to play and the NFL isn't interested, then we will be glad to give him the opportunity. The man looks in phenominal shape. I have little doubt that the man could still play." said C.G. Guinness, founder and president of the ASFL.

Herschel hinted at a possible desire to play in the NFL, but wasn't definite on a decision to make a comeback in an interview on ESPN.

Mr. Walker could not be reached for comment.
