A. F. F. A IN OAKLAND?

With the news of the NFL's Oakland Raiders moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in a couple years. Interest in putting an A. F. F. A.  Franchise in the city has grown in the eyes of league officials.

One owner has had strong interest in Oakland, that owner is Sacramento Crusaders owner Lee Penn.  " We are exploring all our options. Being a longtime Raiders fan, it pains me to see the Raiders jilt the city of Oakland once again. Oakland has some of the greatest football fans in the country. I feel the AFFA would be well served putting a franchise in Oakland. Sacramento has been great and we love it here, however it is a business and as I said, we are keeping all our options open. " said Mr. Penn in a interview Thursday.

Many owners have stated that they would support putting a franchise in Oakland. Expansion or existing. Only time will tell.
