TRAINING CAMPS PREPARE TO OPEN! QUESTIONS TO BE ANSWERED

NEW YEAR, NEW AFFA SEASON! GETTING TO WORK!

As the 2018 Associated Football Franchises of America season rapidly approaching, many questions will be answered.

Will the Louisville Thoroughbreds behind Bo Levi Mitchell and running back Ray Rice repeat as champions? After a dominating 18-1 2017 season that culminated in a Pantheon Cup title. The road to back to back titles will be even rockier as the target on their back becomes even larger.

" Repeating in any sport is never easy. Do I feel we have the team capable of repeating . Sure I do. But it will not be easy. Every team in our division has improved, as well as the entire league. The challenge is set for us and we shall prepare to meet it head on. One game at a time." said Thoroughbreds head coach Bo Pelini.

In Salt Lake City, the Western Conference Champion Utah Mammoths prepare to start Training camp amid rumors of quarterback Dak Prescott possibly jumping to the NFL and the Dallas Cowboys. Is the pressure on to bring a Pantheon Cup title to Utah?

In Pittsburgh, the Ironmen ( formerly Forge ) captured the Atlantic Division championship. Do they have the guns to take the division again and move deeper in the playoffs? Competing with the Steelers for fans in the Steel City had not been an easy task. A title run would make life a little easier.

Like Pittsburgh, the Dallas Marshals ( formerly Outlaws ) face the daunting task of living under an NFL franchise shadow. The Dallas Cowboys! The Marshals won the Mid South Division title in 2017 behind a strong passing game, led by quarterback Mike Rielly and reciever Jasper Collins. Many rate the Marshals as one of the favorites to win it all in 2018.

The Chicago Stags were the league leader in points scored in 2017. Quarterback Brad Doughty leads the Stags explosive offense. Is it any wonder they are picked by many as the odds on favorites to dethrone Louisville. A Great Lakes Division title should be theirs for the taking once again.

The Philadelphia Americans ( formerly Bulldogs ) finished 2017 as one of the AFFA's hottest teams, winning seven straight games to finish the season at 8-8. The team was 1-8 going into the stretch and just missed the play offs. Will the Americans take up where they left off and contend for the Atlantic division title?

The Georgia Generals and St.Louis Scouts enter the league in 2018. How will they fair as expansion teams? Can RG3 ( St.Louis ) and Colin Kaepernick ( Georgia) lead these new teams to contenders or just pretenders?

These are just a few of the questions that will be answered among many more as the 2018 season rolls around. DON'T MISS ALL THE ACTION HERE!
