WELCOME BACK! 2020 EXPANSION CITIES ANNOUNCED!



The Associated Football Franchises of America  announced yesterday afternoon that expansion franchises have been awarded to New Orleans, Louisiana  and Phoenix, Arizona for the 2020 AFFA season. 

This will mark the return of New Orleans and Phoenix as both cities previously hosted franchises once before under different ownership .

Phoenix owned by Stephen McElroy will be branded the " Arizona Scorpions " and will  play their home games at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona. 

The group Bayou Gridiron Inc. owns the New Orleans franchise and will play their home games at Youlman Stadium on the Campus of Tulane University.  Team name will be named at a later date 

With the addition of New Orleans and Phoenix in 2020, the AFFA will now consist of a total of 30 franchises.
