Evans Gone In Philly!

Philadelphia Fires Heath Evans!

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania:  Two back to back 8-8 seasons wasn't good enough to save Philadelphia head coach Heath Evans. The club announced in a press conference earlier today that Evans will no longer be the Americans head coach.

" The Philadelphia Americans and coach Heath Evans have decided to part ways. We are extremely grateful for coach Evans leadership this past couple of years. We wish him the best in his future endeavors." said team Vice President Sheryl Davis.

The Americans under Evans leadership started slow, then finished strong to finish at 8-8 the last two seasons. They have never made the playoffs.
