Vince Young completed 20 of 28 passes for 251 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Michael Hill ran for 115 yards on 21 carries, plus a touchdown reception. Tiger Jones had 6 receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown. Paul McCallum connected on 4 field goals in the win.

Jimmy Clausen led Carolina, passing for 253 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 sack on 21 of 32 passing. Tyler Gaffney had 59 rushing yards on 11 carries. Chris Williams caught 7 passes for 93 yards and 2 touchdowns. Devin Street had 6 catches for 68 yards and a score in the loss for the Swarm.

Memphis, TN:  Ricky Ray completed 25 of 27 passes for 333 yards and 2 touchdowns with 2 sacks to lead the Memphis Hound Dogs to a 44-34 victory over the Pittsburgh Maulers Saturday at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis.

LaGarrette Blount had 14 carries for 84 yards and 2 touchdowns. James White also ran for a score. Austin Collie had 8 catches for 153 yards and a touchdown. Colin Anderson had 6 receptions for 71 yards and a score for the Hound Dogs.

Seth Dodge threw for 298 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception , while completing 27 of 31 passes. Donnie Avery caught 5 passes for 129 yards and 2 touchdowns. Josh Boyce had 5 catches for 39 yards and a score for the Maulers.

Shreveport, LA: Patrick Edwards had two touchdown receptions as the Baltimore Bombers defeated the Shreveport Pirates 27-21 at Duck Commander Field in Shreveport Sunday. Edwards had 2 catches for 39 yards.

Scott Tolzien completed 11 of 19 passes for 116 yards and 2 touchdowns. Anthony Allen ran for 74 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. Nik Lewis had 3 catches for 29 yards.

Darian Durant threw for 242 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception and a sack. Jalen Saunders had 8 catches for 69 yards and a score. DJ Williams had 5 catches for 38 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Pirates.

Dan LeFevour completed 18 of 31 passes for 188 yards and 1 touchdown. Danny Amendola had 4 receptions for 44 yards. Jeremy Shockey had 4 catches for 54 yards and Lance Moore had a touchdown reception for Virginia who have won their last 3 games.

Tim Tebow completed 12 of 19 passes for 239 yards and 3 touchdowns with 2 sacks. George Winn had 82 rushing yards on 17 carries. Jarrett Dillard caught 5 passes for 55 yards and a touchdown. West Point, NY:  Beanie Wells rumbled for 154 yards and 2 touchdowns, including a 72 yard touchdown jaunt for Jacksonville. But the outcome of the game ended in a 24-24 deadlock

Tyrod Taylor completed 28 of a whopping 64 passes for 320 yards and 1 touchdown, with one interception and 2 sacks. LaRon Council ran 18 times for 126 yards and a touchdown, plus had 8 receptions for 83 yards and a score. Kealoha Pilares caught 7 passes for 88 yards and a touchdown. Bret Maher connected on 3 field goals for New York.

Ryan Lindley threw for 238 yards and 1 interception with 3 sacks for Jacksonville. Doug Baldwin had 5 catches for 54 yards and Quinton Demos had a 53 yard interception return for a touchdown for the Bulls. Thomas Decoud contributed on defense with 13 tackles.

Houston, Tx:  JaMarcus Russell threw for 236 yards and 4 touchdowns as the Chicago Stags stopped their losing streak at 6 with a 40-27 victory over the Houston Gamblers Saturday at NRG Stadium in Houston.

Russell completed 17 of 19 passes without an interception. Stephon Jefferson ran 29 times for 114 yards and 2 touchdowns, plus a touchdown reception. Chad Johnson had 6 receptions for 76 yards and a score. Aaron Mallette caught 5 passes for 99 yards and 1 touchdown in the win for the Stags who improve to 6-7 on the season. Rashad Reynolds recorded 2 interceptions.

Graham Harrell led the Gamblers, completing 29 of 35 passes for 294 yards and 2 touchdowns with 2 interceptions. He was sacked twice. Marquess Wilson had 9 receptions for 124 yards and a touchdown. Adrian Arrington caught 6 passes for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns as Houston slips to 6-6.

Jake Murphy caught 4 passes for 66 yards and a score in the win. Roderick McDowell also had a touchdown run. Donyae Coleman recorded 12 tackles.

Quincy McDuffie had a kick return of 88 yards for a touchdown and Rasheed Duncan a blocked punt return for a touchdown in the win.

Denver, Co:  Ryan Nassib completed 22 of 30 passes for 220 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception to lead the Sacramento Crusaders (8-5) to a 35-29 victory over the Denver Miners (2-11) at Mile High Saturday night.

Kaderius Lacy ran for 49 yards on 15 carries and Ka'Deem Carey had 8 carries for 41 yards and 1 touchdown. TJ Houshmanzadeh had 6 receptions for 69 yards a touchdown. Javone Lawson and Randy Moss each had touchdown receptions in the win.

Chase Clement threw for 196 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 sack , plus ran 10 times for 63 yards to lead Denver. Travis Murray had 4 catches for 34 yards and a touchdown. Marvin McNutt had a touchdown reception as well in the loss for Denver. Vontaze Burfict recorded 14 tackles.

Los Angeles, Ca:  Taylor Potts threw for 242 yards yards and 3 touchdowns as the Los Angeles Pharaohs defeated the San Antonio Gunslingers 30-24 before 29,111 at the Coliseum Saturday night.

Potts completed 25 of 35 passes on the night. Joseph Rodgers caught 8 passes for 64 yards and a touchdown. Joseph Randell ran 12 times for 48 yards and Theo Riddick had a touchdown run. Julian Edleman also had a touchdown catch in the win for L.A.

Mike Reilly led San  Antonio completing 20 of 36 passes for 295 yards and 1 touchdown with 2 interceptions. DJ Harper ran 18 times for 84 yards. Keshawn Martin had 7 receptions for 128 yards and a touchdown in the loss for San Antonio who remain a game behind Houston in the Frontier Division at 6-8

Chicago, Ill:  Brandon Banks ran for a touchdown and Antonio Andrews ran for two more in leading the Shreveport Pirates to a 38-21 win over the sliding Chicago Stags at Soldier Field.

The win was costly for the Pirates as Banks left the game with a knee injury that could keep him out 4 weeks. Darian Durant threw for 212 yards and 1 touchdown, while completing 11 of 22 passes. Darius Johnson caught 2 passes for 94 yards, including a 83 yard touchdown reception. Ryan Phillips recorded 11 tackles.

JaMarcus Russell threw for 411 yards and 3 touchdowns, with 2 interceptions and 3 sacks. Stephon Jefferson had 19 carries for 56 yards. Aaron Mallette caught 7 passes for for 100 yards and a score. Keith Wenning threw for 236 yards and 1 touchdown before leaving with a sore hamstring. Scott Tolzien completed 9 of 11 passes for 1 touchdown and 1 interception. (6-5) Baltimore - 27    ( 4-7) Pittsburgh - 13

Baltimore, MD :  Cooper Helfet had 6 receptions for 116 yards as the Baltimore Bombers defeated the Pittsburgh Maulers 27-13 before 19,010 at M&T Bank Stadium Sunday afternoon.

Bombers quarterback Keith Wenning completed 9 of 10 passes for 118 yards and ran for a touchdown before leaving the game with a hand injury. Scott Tolzien finished the game completing 9 of 9 passes for 123 yards and 1 touchdown. Anthony Allen had 14 carries for 60 yards and Sean Whyte added 2 field Goals for the Bombers in the win. Patrick Edwards had a touchdown reception as  well.

Seth Doege threw for 152 yards and 2 interceptions. Doege finished completing 17 of 29 passes and sacked once.  Danny Woodhead had 17 carries for 103 yards and 1 touchdown, plus caught 7 passes for 67 yards . Mike Purcell had 13 tackles on defense in the loss for the Maulers who drop to 4-7.

Birmingham, AL : Greg McElroy completed 23 of 25 passes for 276 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception to lead the Birmingham Barracudas to a 27-20 victory over the Memphis Hound Dogs at Legion Field Sunday.

Nate Kimic had 65 yards on 18 carries, plus caught 5 passes for 52 yards and a score. Dennis Morris had 6 receptions for 64 yards and 1 touchdown. Mike Sims Walker added a touchdown reception as Birmingham tightened their grip on first place in the Mid-South division at 8-3.

Ricky Ray completed 18 of 29 passes for 248 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead Memphis. James White ran for 37 yards on 10 carries. Frankie Hammond had 6 receptions for 71 yards and 1 touchdown. Chicago, IL :  Bo Levi Mitchell threw for 197 yards and 2 touchdowns while completing 14 of 22 passes as the Columbus Explorers slipped by the Chicago Stags 20-18 at Soldier Field.

Adrian N. Peterson had 93 yards on 26 carries. Reggie Williams caught 4 passes for 68 yards and 1 touchdown. Jake Murphy added a touchdown reception and Brett Baer connected on two field goals for Columbus  (7-4 ) in the win.

JaMarcus Russell who announced Saturday that he would not return next season, completed 26 of 39 passes for 378 yards and 1 touchdown with 1 interception. He also ran for a score and was sacked once. Stephon Jefferson ran for 54 yards on 18 carries. Chad Johnson caught 5 passes for 110 yards and 1 touchdown. Dennis Pitta had 8 receptions for 78 yards and Aaron Mallette caught 5 passes for 81 yards in the loss for the Stags who have now lost 5 straight.

Houston, TX :  Graham Harrell ripped the Denver secondary for 344 yards and 4 touchdowns while completing 28 of 33 passes in guiding the Houston Gamblers  (5-5) to a 34-21 win over the Denver Miners Sunday at NRG Stadium in Houston Sunday.

Kevin Smith ran for 57 yards on 17 carries. Dezmon Briscoe had 9 receptions for 138 yards and a touchdown. TJ Jones caught 6 passes for 70 yards and 2 touchdowns and Marquess Wilson added a touchdown reception in the win. Gamblers running back Zack Line left the game with a hamstring injury.

Chase Clement led Denver, completing 19 of 29 passes for 180 yards and 2 touchdowns with 3 interceptions. Clement also led the Miners in rushing with 66 yards on 11 carries. Virgil Green had 5 receptions for 69 yards and 1 touchdown. Travis Harvey caught 8 passes for 60 yards in the loss for Denver  (2-9). Kendall Gaskins also had a touchdown reception.

Tiger Jones continues to be Young's favorite receiver, catching 6 passes for 119 yards. Eric Rogers caught 4 passes for 61 yards and a score and Andrew Quarles added a touchdown reception. Mike Hill ran 26 times for 92 yards in the win.

San Antonio quarterback Mike Reilly completed 13 of 26 passes for 222 yards and 1 touchdown with 1 interception. Reilly also ran 10 times for 54 yards. David Fluellen had 11 carries for 50 yards and DJ Harper added a rushing touchdown. Nicholas Edwards had 6 receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown in the loss. Lamin Barrow added 13 tackles on defense.

Shreveport, La :  Grant Shaw booted a 38 yard game winning field goal with 12:12 remaining in overtime, to lift the Dallas Wranglers to a 30-27 victory over the Shreveport Pirates Sunday evening in Shreveport.

George Winn ran for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns on 21 carries to lead the Wranglers (6-5). Tim Tebow completed 14 of 22 passes for 169 yards, plus ran 6 times for 35 yards and sacked twice. Taimi Tutorial also added a score on the ground. Quentin Sims had 4 catches for 63 yards and Jack Doyle had 5 receptions for 54 yards. Grant Shaw connected on 3 field goals in the win for the Wranglers.

Darian Durant completed 20 of 32 passes for 293 yards and 1 touchdown. He was sacked twice. Antonio Andrews had 17 carries for 100 yards and a score. Brandon Banks had 5 receptions for 107 yards and 1 touchdown. Darius Johnson had 6 receptions for 95 yards in the loss for Shreveport.

Las Vegas, NV : Seneca Wallace threw for 291 yards and 4 touchdowns, while completing 20 of 34 passes to lead the Portland Dragons over the Las Vegas Invaders at Sam Boyd stadium Sunday night.

Jerious Norwood ran for 103 yards and 1 touchdown on 20 carries. Jasper Collins caught 9 passes for 157 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win for the Dragons who improve to 7-4. Chad Jackson also had a touchdown reception for the Dragons.

Raleigh, NC :  Jimmy Clausen threw for 364 yards and 1 touchdown as the Carolina Swarm defeated the Jacksonville Bulls 33-21 before 20,118 at Carter-Finley stadium Saturday afternoon.

Clausen finished the day completing 26 of 33 passes and sacked twice. Tyler Gaffney had 86 yards rushing on 17 carries and 1 touchdown. Tim Wright had 7 catches for 76 yards. Devin Street caught 6 passes for 77 yards and Chris Williams pulled in 4 catches for 102 yards and a touchdown. Onterio McCalebb added 2 rushing touchdowns in the win. Josh Hull contributed on defense with 2 sacks. 

Ryan Lindley completed 21 of 37 passes for 255 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception for the Bulls. Andre Williams ran 15 times for 66 yards. Detroit, Mi : Khiry Robinson ran for 129 yards and 2 touchdowns on 19 carries in leading the Michigan Panthers  (5-5-1) past the Omaha Express 34-20 Saturday at Ford Field. Robinson also had 3 receptions for 51 yards. 

Panthers quarterback Aaron Murray completed 20 of 27 passes for 279 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception. Kyle Miller had 5 catches for 75 yards and a touchdown. Antavious Wilson caught 4 passes for 57 yards and a score. Andy Tanner had 4 receptions for 60 yards in the win. Brynden Trawick had 11 tackles in the win. 

Drew Willy threw for 394 yards and 1 touchdown while completing 26 of 41 passes and sacked once.  Latavius Murray ran 16 times for 68 yards and 1 touchdown. Roy Roundtree hauled in 10 catches for 156 yards and 1 touchdown in the loss for Omaha. 

(5-6) Virginia - 31    (7-4) Orlando - 10

Norfolk, Va :  Bacarri Rambo had two picks, one he took 38 yards to the house as the Virginia Tritons blitzed the Orlando Renegades 31-10 at William D. Price Stadium Saturday. 

Dan LeFevour completed 17 of 27 passes for 146 yards and 1 touchdown with 1 interception, he was sacked once.  Danny Amendola caught 7 passes for 72 yards and a touchdown. Kapri Bibbs had 75 rushing yards on 16 carries and two touchdowns as the Tritons improve to 5-6 on the season. 

Tyler Bray had a rough go being harassed much of the evening by an aggressive Triton defense. Bray completed 17 of 39 passes for 235 yards and 4 interceptions. He was sacked 5 times. Steven Miller ran 9 times for 33 yards and 1 touchdown. Miller also had 6 receptions for 82 yards. Kenjon Barner was limited to 19 yards on 5 carries. Orlando also lost Kellen Winslow to injury. Winslow was added to the injury list after the game with an ankle injury.

Storrs, Ct :  Ryan Alpine hit Cody Wilson on a 48 yard scoring strike with 2:57 remaining in overtime as the Utah Mammoths stun the Hartford Sentinels 26-20 at Rentschler Field Saturday night. 

Alpine completed 27 of 37 passes for 307 yards and 3 touchdowns. Alpine was also sacked 4 times.  Marion Grice  had 62 rushing yards on 18 carries and 10 receptions for 116 yards. Cody Wilson had 7 catches for 114 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Mammoths who improve to 4-8 on the season. Stephen Tulloch had 15 tackles on defense. 

Colt Brennan threw for 248 yards and 3 touchdowns with 2 interceptions.  Brennan completed 20 of 30 passes before leaving the game with an arm injury.  Miguel Maysonet ran 17 times for 125 yards. Rico Richardson had 7 catches for 133 yards. Lucas Reed caught 6 passes for 71 yards and a score as the Sentinels lose their 3rd straight.

Los Angeles, CA :  Taylor Potts completed 22 of 30 passes for 223 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Los Angeles Pharaohs defeated the Sacramento Crusaders 41-23 Saturday night at the Coliseum. The Pharaohs sweep both games against the Crusaders for the season. 

Jamaal Charles ran for 133 yards on 23 carries and 1 touchdown. Brandon Saine ran 4 times for 95 yards, plus caught 5 passes for 30 yards and a score. Lusaka Polite also had a touchdown reception in the win for the Pharaohs  (5-6). Cody Hoffman had 7 receptions for 89 yards and a score .

Sacramento was led by quarterback Ryan Nassib who completed 21 of 28 passes for 318 yards and 1 touchdown with 1 interception. KA'Deem Carey ran 9 times for 36 yards. Tim Tebow seems to have found his niche in the ASFL, something he was unable to find in the NFL.  Tebow threw for 342 yards and 2 touchdowns, while completing 31 of 43 passes. He also rushed for 32 yards on 6 carries.  George Winn ran 13 times for 35 yards.  Adrian Bowman caught 11 passes for 112 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Wranglers fall to 5-5.

Chicago, IL :  Tyler Bray threw for 290 yards and 2 touchdowns, while completing 16 of 32 passes as the Orlando Renegades rolled to a 41-26 victory over the Chicago Stags at Soldier Field Saturday afternoon.

Kenjon Barner ran for 65 yards and 2 touchdowns on 17 carries.  Lee Evans had 5 catches for 159 yards and 2 touchdowns. Kellen Winslow caught 5 passes for 68 yards as the Renegades improve to 7-3 on the season. Larry Grant had 11 tackles as well.

JaMarcus Russell led the Stags, throwing for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception, while completing 17 of 31 passes. Russell also ran for 45 yards on 11 carries. Stephon Jefferson ran 18 times for 33 yards, plus 5 receptions for 43 yards. Chad Johnson and Juron Criner each had a touchdown reception as well. The Stags slip to 5-5 on the season.

Raleigh, NC :  Ryan Nassib completed 17 of 23 passes for 354 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception in leading the Sacramento Crusaders to a 41-14 victory over the Carolina Swarm before 25,000 at Carter-Finley stadium Saturday.

Randy Moss was in top form, catching 6 passes for 181 yards and 2 touchdowns  ( 12, 60). TJ Houshmandzadeh had 4 catches for 43 yards. Jerodis Williams rushed for 41 yards and 1 touchdown on 8 carries.  Kaderius Lacey had 11 carries for 20 yards in the win for the Crusaders.

Jimmy Clausen completed 17 of 23 passes for 160 yards and 1 interception for the Swarm. Tyler Gaffney ran 9 times for 57 yards and a score. Brandon Coleman caught 5 passes for 55 yards as the Swarm slip to 6-4 on the season. Tyrone Brackenridge had a 61 yard interception return for a score.

LaRon Council  rushed for 84 yards on 18 carries,  plus had 5 catches for 32 yards and a touchdown. SJ Green caught 7 passes for 78 yards.  Kealoha Pilares had 4 catches for 48 yards and a touchdown.  Brandon Lloyd also had a touchdown reception in the win. Andre Hall contributed with 12 tackles.

Austin Collie caught 6 passes for 54 yards and a touchdown. Hound Dog quarterback Ricky Ray completed 23 of 27 passes for 230 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception. DJ Moore had 10 tackles as Memphis moves to 6-4.

Keenum completed 22 of 29 passes for 325 yards and 3 touchdowns. Brandon Lloyd had 7 catches for 178 yards and a touchdown. Josh Hill caught 7 passes for 63 yards and a score. SJ Green chipped in with 5 catches for 43 yards and a touchdown. LaRon Council rushed for 47 yards on 12 carries and a touchdown for the Phantoms who move to 7-3 on the season.

Salt Lake City, Ut :  Brian Brohm completed 17 of 26 passes for 259 yards and 2 touchdowns in leading the Portland Dragons to a 26-17 victory over the Utah Mammoths Saturday night at Rice - Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. 

Silas Redd had 89 yards rushing on 11 carries. Jasper Collins had 7 catches for 138 yards and a touchdown. Chad Jackson caught 5 passes for 55 yards and a score for the Dragons. 

Ryan Alpine threw for 273 yards and 1 touchdown, while completing 26 of 39 passes ,plus  had 13 carries for 60 yards for the Mammoths.  Marion Grice was held to 29 yards on 12 carries, along with 9 receptions for 76 yards. Zach Sudfeld added a touchdown reception as well,  catching 4 passes for 46 yards.

( 6-3 ) New York - 21   ( 4-5 ) Baltimore - 16 

Baltimore, MD :  Case Keenum completed 12 of 15 passes for 112 yards and 2 touchdowns as the New York Phantoms defused the Baltimore Bombers 21-16 at M&T Bank Stadium Friday night.

LaRon Council ran 12 times for 89 yards and 1 touchdown. SJ Green had a touchdown reception and Brandon Boykin recorded an interception for the Phantoms who improve to 6-3 on the year.

Scott Tolzien threw for 146 yards and 1 touchdown with 1 interception for the Bombers.  Nik Lewis caught 6 passes for 79 yards and a score. Rajion Neal was held to 44 yards on 8 carries. Bennett Jackson had a 14 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown in the loss. Baltimore falls to 4-5 with the loss.

(3-5) Michigan - 20    (5-3) Carolina - 14

Raleigh, NC;   Khiry Robinson ran for 133 yards on 24 carries with 1 touchdown, as the Michigan Panthers ( 3-5 ) defeated the Carolina Swarm  ( 5-3 ) 20-14 at Carter-Finley stadium Sunday afternoon before a crowd of 28, 012.

Robinson also had 4 receptions for 36 yards.  Aaron Murray threw for 125 yards and 1 interception while completing 12 of 29 passes. Montel Harris had 12 carries for 51 yards and a score for the Panthers.

Carolina quarterback Stephen Morris completed 15 of 40 passes for 147 yards and 3 interceptions. Tyler Gaffney ran 15 times for 66 yards and 1 touchdown. Lirim Hajrullahu connected on 3 field goals  ( 46, 33, 39 ) in the loss for the Swarm

Pittsburgh, PA;  Mark Mariani had 209 yards in kick returns, plus had 5 catches for 52 yards as the Pittsburgh Maulers hammerd the Orlando Renegades 38-16 at Heinz Field before 25,411 "Anvil Heads " ( free foam Anvil hats were given away prior to start of the game,  as we're large foam hammers ).

Danny Woodhead had 63 yards rushing on 12 carries a touchdown. Quarterback Kolton Browning made his first start, replacing an injured Seth Doege. The former Louisiana at Monroe star completed 19 of 25 passes for 173 yards and 1 touchdown. Fred Bennett had a 57 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown in the win.

Orlando's Darron Thomas completed 21 of 37 passes for 225 yards and 1 touchdown with 1 interception. Thomas also ran for 62 yards on 12 carries. Steven Miller had 78 yards on 11 carries. Clarence Denmark caught 6 passes for 98 yards in the loss for Orlando.

Shreveport, La;  Damaris Johnson had 3 receptions for 57 yards,  plus 6 kick returns totaling 315 yards as the Las Vegas Invaders halt the Shreveport Pirates win streak at 3 games with a 34-31 victory at Duck Commander Field before a crowd of 19,488.

Colby Cameron completed 12 of 17 passes for 161 yards and 1 touchdown.  Jerious Norwood ran for 122 yards on 23 carries and 2 touchdowns in the win for the Invaders who improve to 4-4 on the year.

Shreveport pivot Darian Durant completed 24 of 35 passes for 255 yards and 2 touchdowns with 2 interceptions.  Antonio Andrews rushed for 77 yards on 11 carries and a score in his return from injury. Brandon Banks had 7 catches for 58 yards and a touchdown, plus ran for one in the loss for the Pirates who fall to 4-3.

( 6-2 ) Hartford - 38    ( 4-4 ) Portland- 30

Eugene, Or;   The Hartford Sentinels jumped out to a 38-9 third quarter lead, then had to hold off a strong Portland Dragons rally for a 38-30 victory.

Antonio Brown hauled in 4 passes for 95 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead the Sentinels. Charles Scott had 17 carries for 104 yards and 1 touchdown. Quarterback Colt Brennan tossed 2 touchdowns with 1 interception while completing 15 of 22 passes for 276 yards. Triston Okpalaugo had a 52 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown in the win.

Portland quarterback Brian Brohm threw for 397 yards and 2 touchdowns with 2 interceptions to lead the Dragons. Andrew Harris had only 9 rushes for 59 yards and 1 touchdown. Mike Davis caught 7 passes for 90 yards. Desmond Washington had a 89 yard kick return for a touchdown.

( 3-5 ) Los Angeles - 29    ( 1-7 ) Arizona - 21 

Los Angeles, CA;   Taylor Potts threw for 285 yards and 3 touchdowns, while completing 23 of 27 passes for 285 yards as the Los Angeles Pharaohs defeated the Arizona Scorpions 29-21 at the L.A. Coliseum Sunday night.

Cody Hoffman caught 7 passes for 115 yards. Jamaal Charles ran for 95 yards on 18 carries and 1 touchdown in the win.

Vince Young made his first start after being named starter two days prior for Arizona.  The former University of Texas star completed 23 of 27 passes for 285 yards and 3 touchdowns in a losing effort. Young also ran for 50 yards on 8 carries.  Eric Breitenstein rushed for 155 yards and 2 touchdowns on 24 carries . Marcus Rucker had 4 receptions for 59 yards.

Salt Lake City, Ut;   Tyler Varga had 111 yards rushing and a touchdown on 24 carries to lead the Dallas Wranglers past the Utah Mammoths 23-15.

Tim Tebow threw for 231 yards and a touchdown, while completing 23 of 33 passes.  Adarius Bowman caught 7 passes for 73 yards in the win for the Wranglers who improve to 3-4 on the year.

Ryan Alpine led Utah completing 23 of 31  passes for 312 yards and 1 touchdown.  Marion Grice had only 36 yards on 11 carries and 6 catches for 58 yards in the loss.  Utah drops to 3-5 on the season.

Birmingham, AL :   John Skelton completed 21 of 38 passes for 242 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Jacksonville Bulls  (5-3) trampled the Birmingham Barracudas 28-3 at Legion Field in Birmingham Saturday afternoon.

Andre Williams ran 21 times for 71 yards and a touchdown. Chase Coffman had 9 receptions for 102 yards and a score. Cole Beasley added 5 catches for 78 yards and a score for the Bulls. Dominique Franks had a 27 yard interception return for a score as well.

Birmingham quarterback Greg McElroy completed 17 of 34 passes for 186 yards, but threw 4 interceptions in the loss for Birmingham.

(4-4) Virginia -34   ( 2-6) Omaha - 28

Norfolk, Va:  Kapri Bibbs ran for 3 touchdowns while amassing 147 yards on 29 carries, leading the Virginia Tritons past the Omaha Express  34-28 before 23,500 at William D. Price Stadium.

Triton quarterback Dan LeFevour completed 19 of 27 passes for 180 yards, plus ran 11 times for 47 yards and a touchdown. Danny Amendola had 6 catches for 78 yards as the Tritons improve to 4-4 on the year.

Omaha was led by quarterback Zach Collaros who completed 21 of 40 passes for 220 yards and 1 touchdown with 3 interceptions. Latavius Murray had 100 yards rushing on 21 carries and 1 touchdown. Brandon Kaufman had 5 catches for 55 yards and Gator Hoskins 5 receptions for 51 yards and a score for Omaha.  The Express fall to 2-6 on the year.

(4-4) Philadelphia - 24   (2-4) Houston -20

Houston, TX;   Terrance Edwards pulled in 8 catches for 163 yards and 2 touchdowns, to lead the Philadelphia Stars  (4-4) past the Houston Gamblers at NRG Stadium in Houston Saturday.

Tajh Boyd completed 19 of 28 passes for 288 yards and 3 touchdowns with 2 interceptions for the Stars who have won two straight. Robbie Rouse had 15 carries for 61 yards, plus a touchdown reception.

Houston was led by quarterback Dalton Williams, who completed 20 of 31 passes for 249 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception. Dezmon Briscoe had 6 catches for 107 yards and 1 touchdown. Marquess Wilson caught 8 passes for 97 yards. Kevin Smith ran 15 times for 70 yards  for the Gamblers.

New York, NY;   Austin Collie had a career day,  catching 8 passes for 222 yards and 1 touchdown, leading the Memphis Hound Dogs to their third consecutive victory topping the New York Phantoms 23-20 at Michie Stadium.

Javon Ringer ran 26 times for 114 yards. Quarterback Ricky Ray threw for 352 yards and 1 touchdown with 1 interception while completing 18 of 36 passes. Dominique Whaley had a touchdown on the ground.

New York quarterback Case Keenum connected on 22 of 31 passes for 213 yards and 1 touchdown. Tyrod Taylor threw a touchdown late in relief. LaRon Council ran for 108 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown. Josh Hill caught 6 passes for 77 yards and a score for New York who fall to 5-3.

Denver, CO;  Scott Tolzien threw for 280 yards and 3 touchdowns while completing 22 of 27 passes as the Baltimore Bombers ( 4-4 ) defeated the Denver Miners 33 -23, before 26,000 at Invesco Field Saturday evening.

Patrick Edwards caught 4 passes for 104 yards and 1 touchdown. Nik Lewis had 6 receptions for 76 yards and a score. Tony Scheffler chipped in with 6 catches for 41 yards.  Sean White had 10 carries for 58 yards and 1 touchdown. Rajion Neal ran 17 times for 55 yards in the win for the Bombers.

Chase Clement completed 24 of 41 passes for 254 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception, plus ran 12 times for 67 yards. Nate Eachus had 9 carries for 54 yards. Cole McKenzie had 7 catches for 116 yards and a score for the Miners.

Sacramento, CA;   Ryan Nassib completed 14 of 19 passes for 281 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead the Sacramento Crusaders ( 5-3 ) past the Columbus Explorers 34-24 at Hornet Stadium Saturday night.

Randy Moss had his best game of the year, catching  4 passes for 145 yards and 2 touchdowns. Cordell Roberson had 4 catches for 57 yards and 2 touchdowns. Kaderius Lacey ran for 76 yards on 15 carries for the Crusaders.

Bo Levi Mitchell completed 20 of 36 passes for 302 yards and 1 touchdown with 1 interception to lead the Explorers. Jaquizz Rodgers had 59 yards on 20 carries with 2 touchdowns,  plus a touchdown reception. Da'Rick Rogers had 8 catches for 127 yards in the loss for Columbus.

FRIDAY NIGHT RESULTS: GUNSLINGERS STUFF STAGS!

( 4-3 ) San Antonio- 28   ( 5-3 ) Chicago- 9

Chicago, Ill:  Mike Reilly completed only 9 of 15 passes, two of which went for touchdowns as the San Antonio Gunslingers thumped the Chicago Stags 28-9 at Soldier Field Friday night.

David Fluellen ran 13 times for 52 yards and a touchdown. Nicholas Edwards caught 4 passes for 75 yards and a touchdown. Antonio Bryant caught 2 passes for 91 yards and a score. Lennon Creer added a touchdown on the ground also in the win.

JaMarcus Russell led Chicago, completing 21 of 30 passes for 231 yards and 1 touchdown. Russell also fumbled twice. Stephon Jefferson had 68 yards on 16 carries. Dorin Dickerson had 7 catches for 74 yards. Chad Johnson grabbed 5 passes for 83 yards and a touchdown for the Stags.
