Miami, Fla;  Mike Reilly threw for 307 yards and 5 touchdowns as the Dallas Outlaws defeated previously unbeaten Miami Sharks 44-21 before 34,000 at FIU stadium Friday night. Reilly completed 22 of 28 passes.

Lennon Creer ran 15 times for only 31 yards, but scored once. Brandon Wilcox had 48 yards on 9 carries. Jasper Collins had 5 receptions for 151 yards and 4 touchdowns including a 96 yard catch and run for a score. Malcolm Mitchell also had a touchdown reception.

Zach Collaros completed 18 of 29 passes for 233 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead Miami. He was sacked 3 times.  David Cobb ran 16 times for 90 yards and a score. Ezell Ruffin caught 5 passes for 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Sharks who fall to 3-1.

Dallas improves to 2-2 on the year.

FORGE, SHARKS ROLL! PANTHERS LOSE

Storrs, Ct;  Alex Carder threw for 351 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Pittsburgh Forge stay unbeaten with a 43-29 pounding of Hartford Sunday afternoon. Jahwan Edwards ran for 63 yards and 2 touchdowns on 14 carries. Alec Lemon caught 8 passes for 104 yards. Luke Wilson had 45 yards and 2 touchdowns on 5 catches. 

Connor Halliday completed 34 of 58 passes for 443 yards and 4 touchdowns to lead Hartford.  Devonte Freeman had 11 receptions for 139 yards and a touchdown. Jamal Robinson had 5 catches for 122 yards and 2 scores as Hartford falls to 1-2.

(2-1) New York - 24       ( 0-3) Carolina - 10

Brooklyn, New York;  Johnny Manziel completed 17 of 23 passes for 174 yards and a touchdown as the New York Emporers defeated the Carolina Swarm 24-10. Manziel also ran 8 times for 49 yards as the Emporers move to 2-1. Lamar Miller ran 13 times for 46 yards and a score. Dee Hart also added a touchdown reception in the win.

Brady Quinn powered the Swarm throwing for 256 yards and a score, with 1 interception and 2 sacks in the loss as the Swarm fall to 0-3.

San Antonio, Tx;   Marshaun Coprich rumbled for 101 yards and 2 scores on 20 carries as the San Antonio Six-Shooters throttle the winless Columbus Explorers 45-19. Tajh Boyd threw for 168 yards on 15 of 23 passes, plus ran for a touchdown.  Michael Ford added a touchdown on the ground as the Shooters move to 2-1.

Eric Brietenstein led Columbus rushing for 126 yards on 14 carries. Terrell Pryor completed only 7 of 22 passes for 68 yards and 2 interceptions as the Explorers continue to struggle and fall to 0-3.

Norman, Ok;  Matt Johnson tossed 3 touchdown passes as the Oklahoma Roughnecks roughed up the Michigan Panthers 26-7. Johnson completed 22 of 39 passes for 251 yards with 2 sacks.  Rajon Neal ran 17 times for 72 yards and Chandler Jones caught 4 passes for 127 yards and a score. Josh Harper contributed with 2 touchdown receptions in the win.

Cody Kessler completed 27 of 43 passes for 273 yards and a score, with 1 interception and sacked 3 times. Pharoh Cooper had a touchdown reception, catching 3 passes for 70 yards as the Panthers drop to 2-1 on the year.

Glendale,Ariz;  Terrance Sanders intercepted a pass and returned it 87 yards for a score as the Miami Sharks remain unbeaten with a 30-3 rout of the Arizona Scorpions before 28,319 at University of Phoenix stadium Sunday evening. 

Zach Collaros completed 18 of 28 passes for 217 yards and a score. He was sacked 3 times. David Cobb ran 15 times for 73 yards. Tajae Sharp had 6 catches for 65 yards and a score in the win.

Denver, Co;  Vad Lee threw for 4 touchdowns as the Denver Miners move to 2-1 as they pounded the Portland Pioneers 44-21 thrilling the crowd of 37,000+ at Mile High Sunday night. Lee finished completing 25 of 39 passes for 351 yards. Anthony Allen rolled up 118 yards and 2 touchdowns on 14 carries.  Keyarris Garrett had 8 catches for 138 and a score. Marqueis Gray caught 4 passes for 96 yards and two touchdowns. Crisis Williams added 82 yards receiving on 7 catches. 

AJ McCarron completed 17 of 29 passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns with 1 interception.  He was sacked twice. Miguel Maysonnet ran 16 times for 66 yards and a score. Michael Flacco caught 5 passes for 95 yards and a touchdown for the Pioneers as they fall to 1-2 on the year.

Mitchell finished completing 21 of 33 passes for 297 yards with 1 interception. Rice scampered for 118 yards on 22 carries. Ryan Spadola had 6 catches for 113 yards and 2 scores in the win as the Thoroughbreds remains unbeaten at 3-0.

Omaha, NB;  Rakeem Cato hit Tevaun Smith for a 71 yard touchdown pass with forty seconds remaining in regulation to lift the Omaha Bulls (2-1) to a 27-26 victory over the Dallas Outlaws.

Cato completed 26 of 36 passes for 302 yards and 3 touchdowns. Bralon Addison had a 53 yard punt return for a touchdown and Trent Richardson finished with 42 yards on 12 carries in the win for the Bulls before a capacity crowd at TD Ameritrade field in Omaha.

Mike Reilly led Dallas  (1-2) completing 30 of 52 passes for 342 yards and 3 touchdowns with 2 interceptions.

Memphis, TN;  A near capacity crowd packed the Liberty Bowl and we're given plenty to cheer for, as the Memphis Knights knocked off the Birmingham Predators 20-17.

Ricky Ray completed 18 of 28 passes for 156 yards and sacked twice. Cameron Artist Payne ran for 85 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. Tim Hightower also ran for a score. AC Leonard caught 6 passes for 73 yards and Austin Collie had 7 catches for 58 yards. Shayne Graham went 2 for 2 on field goals for the Knights who improve to 1-1.

Birmingham falls to 1-1.

(2-0) Louisville- 27     (0-2) Orlando- 15

Orlando, FL;  Ray Rice had his second 100 yard game Saturday, rushing for 110 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries as the Louisville Thouroghbreds defeated the Orlando Vipers 27-15. Ben Malena also had a touchdown run.

Quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell completed 15 of 24 passes for 200 yards.  Ryan Spadola caught 3 passes for 95 yards in the win as the Knights move to 1-1.

Tim Tebow led Orlando, throwing for one touchdown and running for another as the Vipers fall to 0-2. Tebow completed 21 of 33 passes for 179 yards and 1 touchdown, with one sack. Tebow also ran 15 times for 76 yards and a score.

(2-0) Miami- 47      (0-2) Carolina- 13

Miami, FL;  Zach Collaros threw for 248 yards and 4 touchdowns, with one interception and sacked once as the Miami Sharks  (2-0) crushed the Carolina Swarm 47-13 at FIU Stadium Saturday to remain unbeaten.

David Cobb ran 20 times for 91 yards and a score. Ezell Ruffin continues to be Collaros's favorite target hauling in 6 catches for 120 yards and 2 scores. Jeff Heuerman had 6 receptions for 74 yards and two scores in the win.

Carolina quarterback Brady Quinn led the Swarm attack, throwing for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns with 2 interceptions while completing 19 of 32 passes. Zach Zenner ran ten times for 61 yards. Dustin Keller and Tony Lippett each had a touchdown reception in the loss. The Swarm fall to (0-2).

(1-1) Sacramento- 20       (1-1) Portland- 16

Sacramento, CA;  Terron Ward ran for 2 scores as the Sacramento Crusaders defeated the Portland Pioneers 20-16 Saturday night at Hughes Stadium.
Ward ran for 88 yards on 16 carries. Quarterback Erik Meyer completed 11 of 17 passes for 160 yards and was sacked once. Kenny Still had three receptions for 74 yards.

AJ McCarron led Portland completing 24 of 43 passes for 254 yards. He was sacked 4 times. Miguel Masonett ran for 105 yards and 1 score on 21 carries. Titus Davis caught 6 passes for 80 yards as the Pioneers fall to  (1-1).

BULLS CLIP EXPLORERS 24-17

Columbus, OH;  Rakeem Cato completed 15 of 25 passes for 175 yards and 1 touchdown as the Omaha Bulls improve to 1-1 on the year with a 24-17 win over the Columbus Explorers, before a sold out Mapfre Stadium crowd Friday night.

Trent Richardson ran 14 times for 48 yards and a score, plus caught 6 passes for 30 yards. Emmanuel Arceneaux had 2 catches for 45 yards and a score.  Alfred Blue also ran for a score while rushing for 31 yards on 17 carries in the win for the Bulls. Steven Daniels led the Bull defense with 10 tackles. Dorin Grant had 1 interception.

Columbus was led by quarterback Terrelle Pryor who threw for 182 yards and 1 touchdown with 1 interception. He was sacked 4 times. Running back Eric Breitenstein ran for 52 yards and a score on 12 carries . Jared Abbrederis caught 3 passes for 64 yards and a touchdown for the Explorers drop to 0-2 on the year.

Phillip Steward led the Explorers defense 8 tackles.

Columbus travels to San Antonio next week to play the Six-Shooters.

Omaha entertains the Dallas Outlaws next week at TD Ameritrade Park.

PITTSBURGH POWERS BY NEW YORK!

Brooklyn, NY;  Alex Carder's 18 yard 3rd quarter touchdown pass to Luke Wilson sparked the Pittsburgh Forge to a 32-25 win over the New York Emporers Sunday, before a capacity crowd at MCU Park Stadium Sunday afternoon.

Carder completed 15 of 30 passes for 131 yards and 1 touchdown, with no interceptions and sacked twice.  Tyler Gaffney ran for 58 yards on 15 carries and a score. Luke Wilson caught 7 passes for 62 yards and a touchdown in the win for the Forge (1-0).

Johnny Manziel made his ASFL debut for the Emporers, completing 20 of 33 passes for 196 yards and 1 touchdown. He had 1 interception and was sacked twice. Manziel ran 8 times for 43 yards as well in the contest.

Lamar Miller ran 9 times for only 28 yards and Darrin Reeves ran for a score.  Geronimo Allen caught 6 passes for 57 yards. Nick O'Leary had 3 receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown. Marcus Williams recorded a 90 yards kick return for a score in the loss for the Emporers  (0-1).

Chicago, Illinois;  Brandon Doughty tossed two touchdowns , while throwing for 263 yards to lead the Chicago Stags (1-0) to an impressive 55-14 dismantling of the Omaha Bulls before 22,000 at Soldier Field Sunday.

Omaha couldn't muster much of anything offensively or defensively as they fall to (0-1). Bulls running back Trent Richardson made his ASFL debut, rushing for only 29 yards on 9 carries.

Louisville, KY;  Ray Rice made his return to pro football Sunday, this time with the Louisville Thouroghbreds of the ASFL.  Rice rumbled for 153 yards on 26 carries in leading the Thouroghbreds to a 34-17 win over the Carolina Swarm before 32,000 at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

Bo Levi Mitchell completed 16 of 21 passes for 233 yards and 4 touchdowns, with no interceptions in the win for Louisville  (1-0).

Brady Quinn led the Carolina attack completing 21 of 28 passes for 237 yards and a touchdown, with 1 interception in the loss. Carolina drops to (0-1).

Norman, OK;  Matt Johnson threw for 349 yards and a pair of touchdowns, as the Oklahoma Roughnecks thrill a home crowd of just over 26,000 with a 37-23 victory over the San Antonio Six-Shooters.  Johnson completed 21 of 28 passes and was sacked one in the win.

San Antonio's Tajh Boyd completed 25 of 39 passes for 274 yards and a touchdown to lead the Six-Shooters in the loss.
