Championship Trophy Renamed!

The Associated Football Franchises of America owners voted unanimously to change the Championship Trophy name from " Patriots Cup " to " Pantheon Cup ".

The name change comes along with the league's name change due to copyright issues. The A.F.F.A name as well as the Trophy name were taken from Oliver Stone's feature film Any Given Sunday. Two teams, the New York Emporers and the Miami Sharks were also taken from the movie which was a big influence in starting the league in the first place.

" It was only fitting!" said one league owner about the change.
