San Antonio, Texas: Tajh Boyd will start at quarterback for the San Antonio Mustangs this weekend , replacing Bryn Renner. Boyd, last years starter led the club to an 8-8 record and Frontier Division Championship in 2017. He lost the starting role to Renner during training camp .
The Mustangs are 2-6 and last in the division at the halfway point of the 2018 campaign.
The change was announced yesterday evening in a press conference held at the club headquarters , led by Mustangs head coach Steve Marriucci.
