Dallas, Texas: At the request of the league, the Dallas franchise currently known as the "Dallas Marshals " will drop the "Marshals " brand. The franchise will revert back to it's former brand "Outlaws " effective immediately.
The change comes after league officials learned that a team in the Champions Indoor Football League already has a franchise called the "Dallas Marshals ". So to avoid any confusion or copyright issues, the league offices requested that the "Marshals " brand be dropped.
