Louisville, Kentucky; Kareem Hunt ran for a touchdown and caught another as the Louisville Cougars defeated the Orlando Rockets 34-23 before 34,199 at PaPa John's Cardinal Stadium in Louisville Friday night.
Hunt finished with 115 yards rushing on 20 carries. He had 5 receptions for 79 yards.
Bo Levi Mitchell threw for 245 yards and 4 TD'S with 2 interceptions.
Hakeem Butler had 3 catches for 49 yards and a touchdown. Brandon Banks had a touchdown reception, catches 2 passes for 36 yards. Jeff Knox recorded 2 sacks and 6 tackles, Avonte Maddox had an interception and 7 tackles and Owen Roberts had 2 sacks and 2 tackles.
Joshua Dobbs completed 24 of 35 passes for 311 yards and 2 touchdowns with 5 interceptions to lead Orlando. He ran for a score, while rushing for 35 yards on 8 carries.
Ryan Ballentine had 8 catches for 92 yards and a touchdown. Ladarius Perkins had 4 catches for 59 yards and a touchdown. Dontez Ford caught 4 passes for 63 yards.
Jordan Evans had an interception and 5 tackles, Tre Boston had an interception and 4 tackles and Jake Metz had a sack and 4 tackles in the loss for Orlando.
